Taste of Heaven Bistro is exactly that—a taste of heaven. Small, cozy, beautiful spot with an outdoor patio and amazing vibes. Sara was an incredible server, super friendly and helpful. The food? 10/10 across the board—steak and eggs, pancakes, birria tacos—all packed with flavor. What really stood out was meeting the owner, his wife, and their newborn. That kind of love and care is rare, and you can feel it the moment you walk in. This place is special.

The food was so good. My steak was cooked to perfection. This was a last minute bruch with my friends. We saw it on tiktok and decided to go. The only thing was my red velvet pancakes were not red velvet . It looked nothing like the video and definitely didn’t taste like red velvet. I’ve eaten at restaurants with red velvet pancakes and mine taste like regular pancakes and it was pink not red. Other than that the drinks and vibes were good. I will be back to try some tacos!

I don’t recommend this place. Before coming, I checked Google reviews and looked at the online menu, which showed a good selection of American style comfort food. But when I arrived, the menu I was handed was completely different it had very limited options and everything was overpriced. (Look at menu in the pics $19 for California roll sushi? $12.99 for a milkshake ??? 3 “ribeye” taco for $34.99) Yea I’m poor and broke but even this is ridiculous.
The music was blasting so loudly that I couldn’t even hear the person sitting right across from me and we were the only people in the restaurant. On top of that, the chairs were so hard it literally hurt to sit on them.
The name Taste of Heaven is very misleading, because this experience was far from it. The staff was friendly, but overall, this place just isn’t worth it.

Had this on my list a while so went today.
Overall it’s pretty solid, Mexican food with American style breakfast as well.
The breakfast was fine, about normal as it gets and the sampler platter was much better then I would have expected.
Pricing is fair as well.

We were out shopping and we were looking for a place to have brunch. We went here on a Sunday around 10am. There was plenty of parking. We were seated right away (group of 6). There was only two groups seating down, eating. What caught my eyes about this place was their decor, “its 5 o clock somewhere” and their music. The music was songs that I grew up with, but it was from different variety like bachata, mana, and more. The food was delicious, except the ones that had meat. The meat lacked flavor and needed a lot of salsa. The cafe de olla smelled and was sooooo good. The strawberry milkshake was ok for me. It was missing something. Maybe I missed it, but I think a place like this Needs like some cocktails for brunch like tequila sunrise, Palomar to go with their menu. Otherwise I will definitely go back.

Food was par for the course, and atmosphere was fun. We’re not sure if it was an off day or short staffed but this is not the place if it’s at 40% capacity. We were seated immediately but waited about 72mins for our food. Waiter didn’t follow in between taking order and receiving food. Total time spent there 93 mins.

Cute brunch place with great food!
I got the omelette with chicken and loved it.
There is outdoor seating as well and it’s perfect to have some mimosas and food while soaking in the warm weather.

Well it started with my wife and I buying a burrito to go, ofcourse, my wife gave 10 percent on a Togo order, when we finally get our food half of our burrito was filled of bone… and there was just to much additional attitude when we asked for hot sauce, and wow the bottle of hot sauce that they had the salsa in was really crusty, I leave honest reviews sorry…I had to come back an post more, eating the other of my burrito I found it was filled with bone and cartilage..wouldn’t call this place a 5 star place

This place is a gem…how did I not know this place existed??? The food was delicious…breakfast sausage is exactly what I wanted it to taste like. Presentation is that of fine dining in a vegas or other resort setting. Service is personable and made us feel welcomed. Sandy was so great!! Now, let’s talk about the bottomless mimosas…6 flavors and you can mix and match because it’s self serve! Who does that! My lady and I will be coming back promptly. Seriously, this should be the most popular place in the South Bay.
