We ordered the Chicken Chowmein and Chicken Momos, and both were delicious. The choice of dishes was great, and we really enjoyed the flavors. I’ll definitely be coming back, especially since I’d love to try their thukpa and jhol momos next time.
The only reason for a 4-star rating instead of 5 is that the chicken in the chowmein was a bit hard. I understand some people may prefer it that way, but it felt slightly too firm for my taste- though it was still very flavorful. Perhaps mentioning it while ordering to avoid extra crunchiness would help. The red chutney served with the momos could also be a little spicier and more flavorful.
Overall, the place was quiet and clean, and Debi was very helpful and sweet.

We called ahead and got carry out and wow it’s amazing! We got the chicken chow mien and the pork chow mien with chicken momos. The chow mien has so much flavor and massive portions! You get to choose the spice level 0-10 which is nice. The owner was super nice and helpful and let me try the milk tea while waiting. Definitely will be back!

Tried the Chicken Chowmein & Steamed Chicken Momos. Both were delicious and packed with flavor! I’m not great with spice, so I did Level 2 and it was perfect. The Chowmein portion size was massive, I’ll have plenty of leftovers. The worker was super nice and even gave me a glass of milk tea which was great. Would definitely come back.

I used to come here for a quick appetizer when this place was called Buddha Belly. Fast fwd, they closed and Taste of Everest took over. Talk about a glow up! The new owners were super cool and make some, even better, crab ragoon!
I’ll definitely be back to check out some of the other dishes.

A must-visit new Nepalese and Indian restaurant in Omaha! We loved everything we tried their jhol momo, chatpate, and thukpa were all delicious, but the chowmein was the star of the meal. So flavorful and authentic. Can’t wait to go back!

My first time having Nepalese food (although Indian food is one of my favorites). The food here is absolutely to die for & has quickly became me and my wife’s favorite local restaurants. My party ordered the Chicken Chowmein, Pork Chowmein, Chatpate, Pani Puri, and the Pork-fried Momos. We devoured every last bite until the very end. The momos are some of the most delicious dumplings I’ve had the pleasure of eating, and the chowmein is incredible to the very last bite (portions are very good too!).
Service was spectacular, and the gentleman that cashed us out gave us some milk & honey to enjoy while he explained some of the other menu items for our next visit. This will absolutely be a weekly staple for me and my wife. Your wait time for food may vary, but we GLADLY waited 20 minutes for some of the most delicious food I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying.

This restaurant is in an old fast food building (looks like an old taco bell). I do not know if there’s any extra staff, as we arrived at opening on a Saturday and we only saw the owners. The is no special atmosphere and the service seems to be a humble set of owners doing a decent job at handling a reasonably amount of customers, so I’d say if you’re coming here, do it specifically for the yummy food. When we arrived, I Immediately saw that there were items on the menu that we’d have to reserve ahead of time, and it piqued my interest for future orders. We say down at a small, aged, fast food both, and ordered a variety of food from across the menu to sample, knowing we would be bringing some of it home. ALL of the food was great. My wife has a sensitivity to onions and the chef was willing to remove them where it was possible, though a couple dishes contain ingredients that cannot remove them. Still, it’s very nice when a restaurant has the ability and understanding to adjust a dish like that, and it’s even nicer when the dish still tastes amazing even with the change.
I have every intent to come back and try additional menu items along with some favorites from our first visit and hopefully even call ahead to reserve one of the longer preparation dishes.

I saw someone share this on Omaha Foodies and we tried it last Sunday. We’ve already been back again. We love the chow mein. Both chicken and pork are fantastic and enough for 4 meals. We also love the pork egg rolls and dumplings. Such a lovely staff and very attentive. This will definitely become a staple in our household.

1st time, did some take out. Momos were legit. Stir fried noodles were decent. Deconstructed samosas were decent. Ill definitely go back for the steamed and fried momos. Sauces were excellent as well.
