This amazing secret place down in Seymour Tennessee has some of the best homemade country cooking you can find. I had the fried chicken and as you can see from the picture the piece of chicken was as big as my head! And it was tender and juicy and wonderful just like you might imagine. If you miss out on the potato salad Then you made a big mistake. Also normally I wouldn’t recommend people’s coleslaw but this coleslaw it is to die for. The green beans will taste like your grandmother’s and the desserts are worth the trip alone.

It’s good old fashioned country comfort food. They usually serve 3 main dishes with 6 or 7 sides to choose from, plus they usually have beans and corn bread, and chicken salad sandwiches as additional options. They make their own desserts, which are always good. The couple that runs it are very nice. Plus, Johnny Knoxville has eaten there!

This is a small, local place with amazing food! The service was excellent, as well. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The menu is small, but the food was excellent. It reminded me of going to your grandma’s house for a meal! We will definitely be back!
