Went here for Thanksgiving brunch! Plenty of options to choose from…..some of the popular dishes were not refilled as quickly as it probably should have….no ice cream selections unfortunately. Overall it was good! We plan on going back Christmas eve. Let’s see how it is!

First time visiting this buffet and it was nice. We went for lunch and it was VERY BUSY. I thought since it was a buffet the prices would be set, but they charged me different prices for each of my children. The hostesses asked their ages and I assume based off their age was how I was charged. The food was good. So good that whenever I went to get some orange chicken it was always out! ♀️I really liked the spicy chicken and the chicken dumplings ! The garlic dinner rolls were very soft and there was plenty of deserts! My favorite was the pecan pie. The ice cream station was awesome, plenty of different flavors including coffee flavor with chocolate chips! My girls loved the chocolate fountain where they dipped fruits and marshmallows. We Will definitely come back.

Over the years, we’ve visited this restaurant and in the past it was actually pretty good. Today’s visit was the complete opposite. It’s very rare that I worry about food poisoning while actively eating at a restaurant. The food was all lukewarm, at best. It was all very old …not fresh. Which is even more odd because it was dinner time on a Friday, so you would expect the food to be fresh. I’m not quite sure how this establishment has passed with the health department because it really seems as though it is food poisoning central. Two adults and 2 drinks equaled out to $45, which was a lot, especially for the quality of the food. Panda Express would be exquisite in comparison to Taste of China. Extremely disappointed because it has really gone down hill and it used to be so good. Hopefully the owner reads some of these other reviews and decides to change something because if not, I don’t see the restaurant being in business much longer. Don’t go here, go with literally anywhere else. I’ll update my review if I end up having food poisoning.

This was my first time going to the restaurant. The website to this restaurant made it sound great. The services and the food wasn’t that great, nothing to write home about. The food wasn’t fresh and alot of it looked like it sat there forever. And the fried foods were over cooked and hard. I was also disappointed because I was looking for Chinese food and they had more American and Mexican food to choose from than Chinese food. And the service of the waitress wasn’t very good. We never got asked if we wanted refills in our soda and our empty plates sat awhile before they were picked up. Also we got charged for food that we had left on our plates that we were told that we could take home. Also when we got home my spouse has had diarrhea since eating there.

Good service, Good food. My favorites were to two stops Desserts on top and Hibachi being second. Both of them were amazing. Would recommend going there if you are looking for a whole lot and a bunch of options. Only concern is the naming of dishes. It would’ve been nice if they provided names of the dishes properly and for every dish. Besides that I liked almost everything in this place. Huge, decent crowdy and whole lotta servers( understandable). Good place!

NOT HANDICAP FRIENDLY!!!
The food is ok, at best. I am a restaurant/hotel reviewer. I was actually offended by the visit to this establishment. I witnessed a “regular customer” complaining about the new recipe or prep technique. The owner completely dismissed this observation. As a return customer (or regular) I would be mortified to be treated so rudely. I was astonished to see a patron treated like that. Anyway, I’m a food junkie so here’s my review. The sushi is bland. Maybe a 3 of 10. The pizza, steak, calzones and fries are all old, chewy, cold. The general tso is the EXACT same as the sesame. I’m a huge foodie and I know what I’m talking about. It seems like EVERYTHING has lots of onion powder and way too much garlic. I tasted Wasabi in things that don’t use Wasabi. The quality and combination of taste and texture were definitely sub-par. When I went to ask the kitchen staff if they usually use that much onion and garlic, I couldn’t find anyone that could understand me and I could understand. There was a language barrier but it wasn’t an Asian language; it was definitely Spanish. I am not racist. I just found it interesting. This was a disappointing experience. I wish that my review was available before I decided where to eat.

We went to eat here because the reviews are good and we’d heard good things. Very disappointing. The food was almost inedible. The broccoli beef tasted like literal dog food. The icing on the cake was when we went to pay and they charged us the same amount for our 3-year-old as they charge adults. She didn’t even eat more than 2 bites. Will never be back and do not recommend to anyone whatsoever. Truly awful experience.
Also keep in mind that the sushi, Mongolian, and other cuisines cost extra on top of the limited options offered at the buffet. Which would be fine if the buffet was actually edible.

I’m gonna give you the truth, not gonna sugarcoat it. I’ve been going to this place since I was a teenager (38 now), and it’s always been amazing and I’ve always recommended it. I recently moved about an hour away, and I’ve made special trips to come here on a Friday night because the food was always hot, fresh and rotating BUT over the past year, quality has been going down and I think it has hit the lowest point. The food coming out of the kitchen is lukewarm, and when you try to ask an employee anything, there is a huge language barrier with no one around to interpret. Simple question about hot sauce, or napkins…they don’t understand what I am asking. The sushi is okay, but everything else is just not the same. Quality, food temperature and the rice/noodles are wayyyy undercooked and hard. All the food in general seems as though it is leftover food from the night before. Really disappointed and I feel bad for the owner who usually walks around, and I know the economy isn’t the best but don’t make it harder by skimping on quality. I think it’s time for Taste of China to go back to the way that it used to be. If you could just go back to how it was 2 or 3 years ago, that would be amazing. I have always loved this restaurant and I’m sad to see what it has become.

Absolutely the best buffet i have ever been to. They have almost everything on the planet in there to eat. I ate so much i dont think i can eat for a week. The staff are friendly and helpful. My daughter is a very picky eater. She found so much stuff she wanted to eat I swear we were there for almost 5 hours waiting for her to get done eating. I have never seen her eat so much different kinds of food. Keep up the amazing work. We will be back when i save up enough money to bring all my children.

The shrimp, chicken, and crayfish were all stale. I took one or two pieces and couldn’t eat any more. I’m from Dallas and decided to try this place for the first time. It was the worst Chinese buffet I’ve ever had.
