SATISH VATS
As its name suggests they serve Chinese food besides all types of non vegetarian that includes , Fish , chicken , pork . Conventional Vegetarians should avoid as true North Indian foods are not served. They have some vegetarian snacks but no proper vegetarian food . Happy hours begin at 4:00 PM officially but we went at 2:00 and staff agreed to allow us drinks as in happy hour . The discount or the deal on beer is 1+1 . I truly liked the ambience of the place and surprising deal in drinks & Beers. The staff was quick and responded well to all requests . There is a paid parking just outside . The Restaurent is on first floor N-18, Connaught Circus , Connaught Place Delhi. Exactly on confluence of Connaught circus with KG marg. There wasn’t much crowd so all the more better for sitting with friends . I will recommend for its location , ambience and Food . So far no complaints .

“Taste of China” offers a delightful culinary experience with an array of flavorful dishes. Among the highlights are the Chicken Heaven, Beans Chicken, and Grilled Chicken, each bursting with unique flavors. The Chicken Heaven is a rich, savory dish with tender, succulent pieces that melt in your mouth. The Beans Chicken offers a perfect blend of freshness and spice, with the beans adding a crunchy texture that complements the juicy chicken. The Grilled Chicken is expertly cooked, with a smoky, charred flavor that enhances its juicy tenderness. These dishes truly capture the essence of fine Chinese cuisine, making “Taste of China” a must-visit

We have been to this place few times in the last 20 years – less has changed. Chinese food indian style is fine here. View from few tables across the glass wall overlooking the pathway and road is really good for us.
Neat and clean, restaurant and Wi-Fi all good.
Service is good and staff thank you.
About noodles, it appeared it was packet noodles, instant style but I am not sure. Taste wise it was fine.
This is on second floor, no lift or may be there is a lift I am not sure please check if you do not prefer staircase.

Hola people !! Yesterday I paid a visit to this outlet at Connaught Place which has been there from a very long time. It is one of the most iconic outlet which serves authentic Indo – Chinese food. The outlet is basically a fine dining restaurant which can cater to around 60 – 80 pax at a time and has a very calming aura. They also have a PDR seating which can easily cater to around 8 – 10 pax. I was in the mood of some chilled beer with crispy appetisers after a long day at work so i ordered chicken salt n pepper which was nicely diced and perfectly crisped. The pieces were juicy and very tender. Moving on to staff, well they were very courteous and completely catered to my needs. About pricing, it was bit pricey but somehow I found it perfectly right as it is perfectly accustomed in relation to the location.
I would recommend this only if you’re looking for a great fine dining experience.

I don’t know if I had Chinese or north Indian food. It was too oily and was smelling like northIndian spices and herbs. I think this place is not for those who are looking for authentic Chinese food.

The food is very average and the ambience is just ok. But what pisses me off the most is the way they overcharge service.
It is CP, so granted, the prices will be high, but the way they have no customer satisfaction courtesy is baffling. Along with our food, we asked for some cut onions on the side, and we were charged for that. Also, when we asked for food to be packed, that was also chargeable! I’ve never heard of such behaviour, which restaurant charges for even a takeaway??
Won’t ever be coming here again, would not recommend AT ALL. Their greed will consume you

Food was average. Hot and sour soup was good. Couldn’t really relish the crispy spicy mushroom as it tasted like honey chilli potato. Quick service. Empty place. Ppl taller that 6” be ready to bend down before you enter.

Taste of China is nice oriental resturant on the outer circle of Connaught Place. The ambience is decent for both a cozy date or official meeting as the place is very less noisy with soothing ambience. The food is quite good and so is the service. For starters we tried veg platter and all items were quite nice, people vary of friedfood can avoid as dumdum, spring roll etc were fried items. We tried manchow soup which was quite good. For main course we ordered Triple Combo which was above average but worth one time try. Overall very nice experience with very good service

Very Average- Not at all worth it.
While the service was fast and prompt, the food was quite average and, at best, a passable experience. The soup lacked in flavour while the Dimsum Platter had cold dumplings Which means they re-heat their Dumplings before serving.
