This is the most authentic I’ve found in Murfreesboro. Very happy we found them. The atmosphere is a very typical NYC Chinese place. No frills but great food. If that bothers you, take it to go and eat on plates. You won’t be disappointed. Don’t forget the crab Rangoon and sliced pork. Sooooo good!

Taste of China has been a special part of my life since I was five years old. This warm, family-run restaurant has always felt like a second home. The kindness and friendliness of the family running it makes every visit inviting and comfortable.

The food is consistently delicious, with authentic Chinese flavors that never disappoint. Whether it’s the savory Kung Pao Chicken or the perfectly balanced Sweet and Sour Pork, each dish is a pleasure. They use fresh ingredients, ensuring quality in every bite.

Beyond the amazing food, what makes Taste of China truly stand out is the genuine care they show their guests. The service is attentive, and you can feel the love they have for their work and their patrons.

In short, Taste of China is more than just a place to eat—it’s a treasured part of my family’s story. With delightful dishes and wonderful service, it’s a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere.

Just ate here for first time, and hate to say that I’m not impressed. For me, it was all very bland and flavorless. I ordered egg drop wonton and only got egg drop. My house special lo mein was not very special. Even the egg roll had no flavor. I’m depressed because I am looking for a new spot. The search continues in the Boro. I’m more of a Thai guy anyway

Tried ToC for the first time this evening after a bad experience at our regular Chinese takeout spot. Thought it was pretty good; not exceptional, but met our expectations for what we were getting.

Whole ordering experience felt rushed, first time to this place and did not feel very welcomed. My girlfriend’s order had no white sauce or crab that was supposed to be included and more vegetables than meat. Her scallops were not done cooking either. This food is going to get her sick! They did not include enough chili sauce and when I requested my meal to be spicy, it was still bland on the spice scale. Was not worth tipping extra for the service and apparently takeout quality of food.

The service was not good. The guy seemed a bit rude. The food was not good. The shrimp fried rice had a burnt taste to it and it was not flavorful. A waste of 11 dollars. First and last time going to this place

As you walk in the aromas make your mouth water, anticipating all the delicious flavors to come!
The food was made quickly with no errors, which in today’s food service industry is a rare gem indeed.
Although you can do carry out they have a nice sitting area.
It was a pleasure to visit and I plan to go again as soon as possible.

10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND !! I am literally throwing away everything i ordered! My total was $31.22 !! My mother said “um yea this is nasty” . I had to basically recook my “Vegetable Lo Mein” and add my OWN SAUCES. Their noodles are so dry I almost lost my appetite looking at them. But I doctored them up and ate SOME , like 4 bites and was completely ill. My sweet n sour chicken was overcooked, looked like deep fried rat ankles. My mom got the “Bourbon chicken” , horribly bitter & bland tasting! Like the chicken looked like a smooth piece of tire tread. Terrible experience ‼️

I’ve been coming here for over 10 years. Still my favorite Chinese restaurant. There’s a reason they’ve been around so long! Try the honey chicken. They make it like nowhere else.
