OK, the food wasn’t bad but the container it came in was bad. I think they did that on purpose because they were trying to make ends meet with money. They seen that I ordered a low amount of price of food. And the container came out bummy. They kinda do a reciprocity kind of thing which I don’t think is nice. Things should be low price anyways…

I’m from NY where you can find some of the best Chinese food and “Taste of China” is as close it gets. The pork fried rice is fantastic! I’ve been all over looking for good fried rice, not yellow rice with peas and carrots. It’s loaded with meat, onion, egg, carrot, peas with the perfect blend of seasonings. I’ve also tried their “Shrimp in Lobster Sauce” and it was delicious! It’s my new favorite next to the “Moo Goo Gai Pan”. It’s loaded with big juicy shrimp and was perfectly seasoned. (I hate when restaurants over-salt there foods) So if you wants great authentic Chinese food try “Taste of China”.

This was absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable. I found bugs in my food not outside the container not from the environment but inside the actual food I was supposed to eat. It was one of the most disappointing and disturbing experiences I’ve ever had with takeout. I don’t even have words for how nasty and unacceptable that is. This is beyond dissatisfying it’s a serious health concern. I will never eat here again and I strongly warn others to stay far away.

I haven’t had Chinese in a while, so I decided to order local nearby. Decided to try Taste of China in Lakewood Ranch. Everything came hot packed well for the most. I wish the pork fried rice was packed separately from my chicken lo mein that I ordered from the combination section. It was more filled with fried rice than the noodles. The egg rolls were just ok. The outside of it was crispy. I couldn’t tell which kind of egg roll it was. The Wonton Soup seemed ok asked for no scallions in soup was good. Paid almost $32.00 after taxes and fees added in for everything since it was through Uber Eats Delivery, but they packed in some extra crispy noodles, which I like putting in my Wonton Soup. I got all my Chopsticks plus good amounts of sauces to mustard packets I had requested plus two fortune cookies I got as well. Uber Eats does good delivery for the most since my car isn’t working well.

We waited 45 minutes for an order, then they missed one dish. When I called the lady couldn’t transfer my call and then didn’t even know the managers name. Horrible place and food. The dish we did get had no chicken only celery and water cress. The fried rice had no egg even though we ordered extra egg. The food is bland and tasteless.

Below average quality food. Staff is nice and place seems clean but the chicken Kung pao wasn’t great. They made it just how I like it, but the sauce tasted very watered down. It also had a weird bitter after taste? Not sure if I’ll be there again before they finish building the panda express nearby but I might give them another try. Needs improvement.

Sorry but not ordering from here again. Ordered shrimp and lobster sauce with rice. Very bland. Ordered the combo platter of sweet and sour chicken. Did not receive my egg roll and also I had several fried shrimp mixed in my chicken. That could be a very bad thing for people allergic to shellfish on top of…that’s not what I ordered! I deserve a refund for some of this order. Will not recommend.
