I met the owner at a restaurant in New York. After she told me about her own restaurant, I knew I had to try it the next time I came to the Philly area. The food did not disappoint at all. I got the spicy lamb noodle soup, which was made with lamb and beef bone broth. It was perfectly seasoned with savory ingredients, including cumin, and a mild touch of numbing peppercorn. My partner got a chicken, potato and noodle dish. Both of our dishes had the meat and noodles cooked perfectly.
The atmosphere is nothing special but everything is extremely clean. They provide semi-table service.
I would recommend making a trip here if you want that not-too-common Xi’an style food.

I tried this restaurant for the first time today and found it to be quite delicious! My daughter ate the whole steamed bun (baozi) before I could try any, but we also got a youtiao, which was crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and also looked picture perfect.
I got the biang biang mian / biang biang noodle, and the texture of the noodles were great! There was so much variety of meat and vegetables that came with the noodles, and also had house chili oil that was fragrant but not too spicy. If it matters to you, it’s self-service, but the waitress/cashier offered to get utensils for my young daughter and me, which I really appreciated!
There aren’t that many restaurants that sell Xi’an food in this area, so I highly recommend you try this place out!

The pork was really good! I was expecting better tasting noodles for all the work I had to put in to get here and order! I would have liked for the rep to visit my table every once and a while and ask if I wanted water. She did provide good service when I was ordering on the screen!

Tried takeout today for the first time and everything was delicious. This is more of a takeout place since the vibe is very basic, but there are a few tables for eat-in. I had the Pork Rib noodles and it was a very large portion with fresh bok choy, nicely spiced pork, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Also tried spring rolls and hot and sour soup (standards to see how they compare to other restaurants in the area). Spring rolls had options of chicken or chicken and shrimp, not greasy at all, and very good. Hot and sour soup was hotter than I’ve had elsewhere and not as thick as usual–i prefer this version. Prices were very good especially given the portion size of the noodles, easily enough for 2 meals. I will definitely be back!

Service is lackluster. Called to place a takeout order and was directed to place an order online. There is a convenience fee added when placing an order online.
Unfortunately will not be ordering here again unless they reinstate takeout orders by phone.

I ordered the pork bun, noodles with pork ribs (extra chili oil) and the cumin beef. Everything was wonderful and on point. Very good experience. The hostess helped me order on the kiosk. I will be back

I do hope the owners bring back their original menu and start offering biang biang noodles and the pork rib noodle again. Those noodles were so fresh, authentic, and flavorful. For our family, these items were what really set this place apart from other Chinese restaurants in the area, and why we visited multiple times a week. We are anxiously waiting for the menu to update again!
