Social Profile:

Taste of Belgium is a restaurant group of Belgian-inspired eateries. We take traditional Belgian recipes and we twist them; we take American classics and we Belgianize them. We believe elegant cuisine can be served with a down-to-earth attitude and humble foods can be served elegantly. We take the food we create and the service we provide very seriously, but not ourselves. Waffles, Chicken, Beer. Eat Like a Belgian, Drink Like a Belgian, Live Like a Belgian!

Stopped in for brunch on a Sunday. Our services was amazing all the staff was really nice and attentive, clean and comfortable seating.Food was good. My favorite was the poutine. Not a huge menu but a decent amount of choices. Definitely recommend this location.

This was our first time at Taste of Belgium. We decided to sit at the bar since there was a slight wait. We are glad we did as that is where we met Pablo. If I went there only for drinks and awesome service then I would have rated 5 stars. Pablo and the woman training him were amazing 5 star employees.

We started off with Drop off Sunshine and Summer Vibes. Both were delicious and made perfectly. I also decided to try the Belgium Mule, why not, right It wasn’t bad but I like Vodka or Bourbon in my mule drinks. Pablo being in training did an amazing job mixing these drinks.

We also got appetizers, Mussels Gratin. They were pretty tasteless. Basically mussels and bread crumbs. I really had wanted to try mussels provencale or pesto cream but that is only on the dinner menu. We also got their beer cheese and pretzel. I love a good beer cheese and I have to try it whenever a place has it in the menu. This beer cheese is not quite like the others. It’s sweet and not as much of a beer taste that I enjoy from other establishments. The pretzels were awesome.

Our main course we had the Farm Egg Omelete with Frites and Waffles Benedict. My partner said the Omelete was great. I did enjoy the Waffles Benedict but it wasn’t as amazing as I had hoped, for the price.

The restaurant was clean. Service amazing. But due to the price and so so food we aren’t sure we would come back. We would stop in for a drink at the bar before heading to another restaurant

I want to start off by saying the reason for the delay in this review is because I was in a wedding that occurred on Saturday.
Frank was a great server! He was kind and attentive.
My only complaint is about the food … my best friend, boyfriend and I went Friday afternoon for brunch and we ordered chicken and waffle (me), eggs Benedict (best friend), and chicken and biscuits with gravy (boyfriend). Friend’s food was great! Mine was great other than a small questionable spot in my chicken. My boyfriend however stated there was one part of his chicken that he couldn’t cut with his fork sideways like he could on another part. It wasn’t fully cooked all the way through come to find out but it was hard to tell since it was covered in gravy. Around 1am, my boyfriend got extremely ill – wobbly in his step, dizzy, hot and dripping sweat but feeling cool to the touch, vomiting several times, borderline passing out. It was awful. Again, I would have notified sooner if I wasn’t involved in yesterday’s wedding. Great atmosphere, but please make sure the cooks are cooking, especially the chicken, the food all the way and that it’s checked prior to being served so someone else doesn’t get food poising from undercooked chicken like my boyfriend unfortunately did.
Pictures left to right – boyfriend’s undercooked meal, my chicken and waffle and egg, and my friends egg Benedict and breakfast potatoes.

The new layout is 1000% better. Now you dont have to awkwardly sit in the middle of the whole restaurant. Taste of Belgium never disappoints! Was happy to get in without a wait. Great service and amazing food!

Our first and last visit. We stopped by midday to give the place a try. Despite only a handful of people in the restaurant we were told it would be a 30 minute wait. We get seated about 2:20 and our waitress quickly got our drink order. I thought things were off to a decent start. However, after she brought the drinks I asked to add an ice coffee of which she never brought to the table. There’s currently less than 15 people in the restaurant eating and it’s now 3:06 and still no food and the waitress hasn’t been back to our table. Food was brought out about 3:15. Steak was overcooked and cold. It’s safe to say, I’ll never be back and DO NOT recommend anyone wasting their time or money at this establishment.

We had high hopes for it. All the food even the savory was sweet. The gallette (goat cheese and spinach) was sweet, the baked brie was sweet.
The waffle was cold and not fresh. we were disappointed. The hostess/server was verynice, but we won’t be coming back because of the food.

Visited for breakfast on a Monday morning at 8:30. Promptly greeted and seated. Our server was nice and our order was taken quickly. Portions were healthy and the food was tasty. I was disappointed that they did not have sugar-free syrup because I am diabetic. I got a biscuit with preserves instead of a Belgium . That is why I went with 4 stars.

We celebrated our daughter’s 28th birthday tonight. Everyone liked their entrees. Two of us got burgers and it was difficult to tell which was medium and which was medium well. The beer cheese was a little thick and pretzels were more well done vs. soft. Beer was great. Server brought wrong one and realized her mixup when she brought it to the table.

This place came up because I was doing Google search for “family friendly” places to eat. I would have to disagree with the family friendly. Their kids menu isn’t really something any kid in the US would like. I thought everything was *delicious* and would go again with my girlfriends but it’s a little too authentic for picky family members and children. I wish I lived closer so I could I try more dishes
