Awadh serves delicious Biryani, flavorful Fried Rice, and a rich, perfectly spiced Chicken Karahi.
The food tastes fresh every time, and the cleanliness of the place really stands out.
Portions are generous, and the service feels warm and attentive.A great spot for families looking for quality food and a comfortable atmosphere.

Had a late lunch today while traveling to Columbus. Vinni hosted me and made me feel like I was experiencing authentic Indian food. I ordered the lamb curry and raisin naan with a beautiful Indian lager! It warmed me to the bone in this cold-ass city (January 😉 He also offered a sweet n sour soup to start on the house. I highly recommend a visit if you enjoy Indian food and culture.

This location was a Chinese restaurant, then a Japanese sushi place, finally this authentic Indian restaurant.
I have tried their butter chicken and lamb spicy curry. They come with plain rice. Both tasted good but not impressive. There is only plain meat in the entree without veggies. The spicy level is high. The lamb is a little hard to me.
The room is great with a bar. Lunch buffet is available. Service is good and WiFi is fast.

Three of us had dinner here last week and we tried multiple items on the menu and even some recommended ones from our server – everything was great. I really enjoyed the spicy Hyderabadi potatoes, Saag and Mushroom and my wife really enjoyed the Dal Tadka. If we are near campus again and wanting Indian – we will be back.

I was very disappointed with this naan. It was extremely thick and felt more like a pizza base than naan. Honestly, frozen naan tastes better than this. This is the worst naan I’ve ever had.

Visited for lunch buffet on a Saturday. Opened at 1130a. Service was great…someone checked on us multiple times. This buffet is the best in town. They don’t dial down the spice just because it’s a buffet. The chicken biryani had a nice subtle but noticeable kick and they had pepper pakora. They had a Pani puri station. Also had some indochinese dishes which were spicy and sweet. Overall a tasty buffet! Cant wait to come back.

Absolutely incredible food. I got the Chicken Anand Curry and it was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before. There was so much flavor, so much taste to analyze, and just extremely pleasant. I loved the blend of more savory spices like curry and the more faint and floral spices. There was one specific spice I really liked but I don’t know what it was.

We also had the rice pudding which was such a fascinating dish! It was perfectly sweet and had an extremely unique cold taste to it, imagine tasting peppermint and feeling the coolness, but without an overpowering taste, that’s exactly what the Rice Pudding was like.

Service was phonemonal, the staff were always there ready to help us! Frequent water refills were also offered and everyone was so polite!

This restaurant recently got new ownership, but the food remains Excellent!

My dad really enjoys trying many different dishes, so we typically go to their buffet, which is now served (including at lunch) Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The menu has many different things, so while you may see a few favorites (like chicken/paneer tikka masala) on a fairly regular basis, they regularly rotate out different dishes so that you are always trying new things!

Their food is quality, with Everything (including sauces) being made fresh (regularly) on site, and the staff are helpful with telling you what is in everything. Spices in the buffet range from no spice to medium-hot spice (for Americans), but there are ways to add spice to those items, as well as ways to list spice preference for dishes ordered off the menu.

The staff is very friendly and good at suggesting combinations, too!

I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon in hope of having a buffet. Unfortunately, the buffet at Olentangy River Road is now just for Sunday Lunch and Sunday Dinner (call ahead to check). Instead, I had their non-veg set meal or thali. It was wonderful and full of flavor, and in particular the non-veg biryani was just amazing. My waiter was very attentive and helpful. I’ll be back and bring friends. Thanks!

Stopped in for lunch. Greeted warmly. Menu was extensive. Our dishes were excellent (saag chicken and chicken korma) and the buttered naan was delightfully warm.
