My experience has been quite pleasant, with friendly individuals and a positive atmosphere that contributes to an overall enjoyable visit. Additionally, the pricing is quite reasonable compared to other establishments. I also appreciate the diverse selection of authentic African dishes offered on the menu.

This is a very busy spot in the heart of Brooklyn Park and the food and staff is top notch. They feature a variety of African cuisine, especially Liberian. They have cassava leaf, potatoes greens, palava sauce, attieke and fish, palava sauce, groundpea candy, coconut candy, and more.

The best Jollof rice in MN !! Tried many restaurants always disappointed when it comes to jollof rice. I was so happy when they let me try the jollof before I bought it and of course they did their thing !! Authentic African food ! ❤️❤️

Hearty portions of delicious food in this casual family restaurant. Nice variety on the menu and friendly service. I enjoyed the cassava leaf stew and jollof rice (which comes with fried chicken). My only feedback would be that having a TV and radio going makes it hard to relax.

They serve pork products as goat meat. Ox tail , but the bones of the meat and the thick skin of pork , like that of ham hock is not from goats. Ox tail doesn’t have

Great food, great service and worth the money. The food here is decently priced considering they’re serving size. The folks who run this place are very kind and welcoming. If you want to tip they do not accept tips through card but only in cash. Thank you for the great service.

I just went there yesterday. It was the best food ever. The service was wonderful. My food was ready when it was supposed to be and I’m enjoying every bit of it. I’ve been eating it since yesterday. I’m about to eat some more now it’s the real deal this is a real taste of Africa, so different from all the others I tried before I will be going again!! and I must add it was very meaty enjoyed every bite food was made with love.

Although the person cooking was nice and made everything in a timely manner, the food was awful. We ordered so much food and it was all subpar. The egusi is NOT egusi, it’s like a faux okra soup. the Jolof was sooo sooo bad, like the rice was expired, just an oily mess! Cassava leaf was no good, and the palm butter was tolerable at best. Gave us pounds of old rice (don’t need that much especially if it’s not made well). Paid $90 for it all, it’s unfortunate.

This was one my first and best experiences eating at a Liberian restaurant in Minnesota. The cassava leaf and rice was excellent! The pepper sauce was amazing, the host and hostess made me and my cousins feel so loved and welcomed. I recommend coming here all the time. You won’t be disappointed!
