Lots of parking and lots of space in the coffee shop. My favorite part were the pretzels. The cinnamon rolls were okay, a bit lemony. The coffee was average. If you want a quiet place to focus on homework or meet with someone this would be a good spot. Could use a bit of upkeep with the building maintenance.

Best coffee shop in all of Michigan! The staff is wonderfully friendly and always helpful when asked any questions about the menu! I would highly recommend anyone who loves coffee to try this location out! I always get a hot caramel latte and it’s not too sweet and not too bitter it’s right in the middle. Thank you guys again for being great!

This place has so much charm! There are so many cozy areas to settle in and do work, or large tables to catch up with friends. The vintage style of the place was very nice, service was very attentive and they bring the drinks to you. Didn’t get to try their bakery items or food other than their breakfast burrito but even just that tasted great!
Edit: Went there again with a friend in the morning and it was an absolutely lovely experience!! There was so much community and I got to try their bakery items which were absolutely delicious!! I think this is going to become my go-to spot now!

It is such a darling coffee shop. They bake in house and use their own syrups.
A wonderful hidden gem!! Worth visiting if you’re heading out of Lansing and going to Detroit.
I’m from out of state, so I can’t come back for a while. But, I will tell my Michigan family to come visit!

In my experience, this is now a favorite coffee shop of mine, and I will be going back.
The coffee was delicious. Taste Coffee is using a delicious roast which rises above most others. While being flavorful, it was smooth and easy on my sensitive stomach. I loved every drop of my unflavored latte. Oh, and the pretzel and dip are worth it. I guarantee. I also enjoyed the scone.
The atmosphere was as decent, considering the building is soon to be demolished from being old and in need of repair. They seem to have promising plans for an impressive new construction. Sometimes, the environment is noisy though and not a good vibe for hanging out. Don’t wait though, what they have now is charming in certain areas. Being just a few miles off the main town of Okemos, I will easily make the detour.
The young staff is . You will not get served with the same love anywhere else in the Lansing area. Everyone I met was sincerely joyful to be working in this very special coffee shop.

Taste Coffee Company is quickly becoming my new favorite coffee shop in town! The location is adorable with plenty of seating, making it perfect for a relaxed stay. Prices are very reasonable, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The homemade bagels are some of the best I’ve ever had. I’m already making this a weekly stop and am so glad to have such an amazing coffee spot in the Okemos area!

I went to this coffee shop to meet up with my sister, the coffee shop had indoor and outdoor seating. I was disappointed that the outdoor seating was limited, and the heat lamps were not on even though it was freezing and inside the shop was too busy for people to stand in line inside comfortably. I checked out the indoor atmosphere and it was cozy and but preferred to be outside away from the large group there. I think because of how busy the shop gets they need to remodel or move the ordering bar because there was no room for us to stand in line comfortably. Also I noticed it was advertised it was a dog friendly placed yet they seemed overwhelmed when I simply had my dog in line to order coffee with the intent of dining outside, mind you my dog is well trained, sits quietly, on leash that is hand held and connected to my pants. They need to clarify if they allow dogs on there patio or not. Also the coffee is expensive it was$7.50 for what would be a small at Big B, not an issue except for the peppermint mocha tasted like water with peppermint oil dumped in it. I am all about supporting small businesses if its good quality. Unfortunately this experience wasn’t the best. If your looking for a cozy place to read or meet up with someone nice place to do it but I recommend bringing your own cup of Joe or hit up Big B on the way. Also as someone who is allergic to Nuts it was concerning to me that almond milk and oat milk coffees were being poured over one another, making cross contamination possible.

What a gem! This place is so cool. Great coffee and sweets. I found this cafe while killing time in the area between appointments. I needed coffee and to get some work done. The staff is so friendly and professional. There is a TON of room for working. Many varieties of tables (high and low), chairs, outlets everything I needed. I live over 1.5 hours away, but when I’m driving through or anywhere close, I’ll go out of my way to visit this place.

Okay, wow. Seriously good cinnamon rolls! Super fresh, creamy frosting (not sickly sweet!), and great flavor. My husband had the cheese bagel with cream cheese. Yum, it tasted like mac and cheese you can hold in your hand.
Love the decor and space. Many areas to sit and chat comfortably and quietly, from two guests to several. I’ve been here probably five times and it never disappoints. Great location too. Love to meet up with friends here. Thank you!
