I originally called Taste and See just to make sure they had ceremonial grade matcha, and they confirmed they use the Two Leaves ceremonial-grade matcha — so I went in specifically to try it. I asked for it to be stronger, and the staff customized it perfectly for me with an extra scoop, sugar-free vanilla, and lavender. It was everything I wanted and more!
As soon as we walked in, we were so impressed by how clean and inviting the store was. I thought it would just be a coffee shop, but it’s actually packed with hidden treasures — fresh ground coffee, a wide variety of loose leaf teas, chocolate-covered peanuts, gift baskets, mugs, and a whole wall of popcorn.
We tried the salt & vinegar popcorn (sampled a small bag, walked out with the big one ), plus cookies & cream, spicy pickle, and the Twice as Nice (a caramel + cheddar mix). Every flavor was so good.
They also let us sample their gelato and sorbet — the almond gelato was a standout, but the cookies & cream and lemon sorbet were just as incredible.
The staff was AMAZING. So helpful, so kind, and really made us feel welcome. They explained the menu, gave us samples, and went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. I even signed up for their rewards program before I left!
This place is way more than drinks — they have iced teas, hot teas, smoothies, toppings for ice cream, hot chocolate, and so many drink varieties. Everything from the service to the atmosphere to the product selection was top tier.
Five stars for everything — food, staff, and experience. If you’re in Texarkana, you have to stop in. You’ll be glad you did!

Iphiclus here heard of this place long ago and wanted to go with my mother but due to busy schedules I decided to come in with my father for the first time ever being here. It was super welcoming, employees were a delight especially with helping me figure out different drips/ and orders. I did come here to get a 1lb bang but found out it’s only delivery only BUT that’s not a bad thing as the little bags in this picture below can be used as samplers to try and get your best flavor you prefer. For our first choice I went with the banana nut bread (smells like banana pudding) and the Tiramisu we also did pick up the dark chocolate English toffee they were so good that unfortunately they were empty before getting back to the house so no picture of those. I will be returning to make grounds for a k-cup for my sister when I leave.

Found this coffee shop on Google. I’m so glad we chose to check it out. The butter rum Carmel and the orange cream chocolates are expensive but so worth it! So is the gelato’s. I liked the salted caramel and cheese cake the best. The two young people working were really nice and helpful.

Was in the mood for coffee while in Texarkana. Wanted to go to our usual places. They however were closed so after a handy search on Google my wife and I located this establishment. I had no idea it existed. So to curb our coffee craving we decided to check it out. It is nestled in the little shopping center that contains Gusano’s, right next to the Zips Car Wash on Richmond. Upon entering the smell was exquisite. The smell of freshly roasted coffee and the mix of chocolates was an aroma overdrive. On the right side of the store you have a collection of ground coffees, chocolates and chocolate covered items along with honey and even coffee makers to include pour over devices. On the left is your place to order coffee. And to our surprise, they also offered an assortment of Gelatos and a bunch of freshly made chocolate assortments, ranging from chocolate cream candies to chocolate pops. And the Gelatos are all creamy and flavorful. At this point I haven’t even touched on the coffee. My wife and I both had the white chocolate caramel hot mocha with marshmallow and espresso shot. My first sip was heaven. Not too sugary, not too bitter and the perfect temperature. Now if you aren’t into frilly coffees, they offer the standard fair of options including pour over coffee. They also offer frappes and hot chocolate options. They even have Chai and Matcha as well. While I wish they had breakfast or other food options that would pair perfectly with their coffee I can not knock them for it. If you want to try some good coffee and great sweets you cannot go wrong with this location. All are excellent and the staff is friendly too.

We were visiting from out of town and wanted a change from the typical starbucks while also wanting to support a small local business. The staff was amazingly friendly and the gelato and coffee was top notch. Me and the wife agreed this will be our GO-TO coffee shop when we visit Texarkana!

Fun little coffee and treats shop. They have all kinds of coffee, gelato, chocolates, gifts and so much more. Went in for a coffee and ended up getting chocolate covered bacon and trying some of the gelato. Very nice and friendly staff.

The cappuccino I had there had to be hands-down the BEST I’ve had anywhere, and I’ve been to many local coffee houses in lots of places. I also got several truffles and some espresso gelato. Yum!!! Only thing I wish is that they would have a larger seating area. It can tend to be crowded in the evenings–a testament to their great coffee, gelato, truffles, and other sweet treats! I love this place.
