Tassili Grill has absolutly amazing food. I’ve tried the chicken over rice and lamb over rice, and both were delicious. My favorite, is the signature Algerian merguez over rice. The flavors are so authentic and satisfying. What makes this place even better is the owner. He’s not just friendly, also genuinely good person

Fantastic value for money. It’s my first time to try Algerian/North African sausage (merguez) and it’s soooo good! I also got the lamb over rice. Delicious. Well seasoned meat, a good amount of vegetables, and tasty rice! The owner was super nice and accommodating. Thank you, Mohammad!

All of the food at this food truck is very tasty and fresh. The main thing is that this owner is very friendly and welcoming! You can tell he is a lover of life. I highly recommend it. And I will be coming back for more next time. Love it！

Hands down the best food truck lamb and rice I’ve ever had. The lamb was moist and in irregular chunks (not strips), didn’t taste previously frozen. The greens (lettuce/tomatoes/bell peppers) were all fresh and crisp. The yellow rice was fresh and moist as well. The chef asked me about portion size for the rice (if I wanted more) but it was a generous amount to start with so I declined.
The chef gave me a taste of the merguez (a north African sausage) which was one of the most flavorful things I can remember eating in recent memory. He said he gets it fresh from a local butcher and I believe it. I will definitely get that when I go back…though the lamb was delicious, the merguez was out of this world good.
Chef was very friendly. It was a dead Tuesday night and he was still very engaged with me and generous to cook and offer the sample of the merguez.
My office is in Newport and I’ll gladly walk the 15 minutes back down to this food truck to eat there again next time I’m in the office.

Tassili Grill serves up one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a while! I ordered the lamb gyro and it didn’t disappoint. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and everything was assembled with care, The bread was fresh and perfectly toasted. The atmosphere was cozy, and the man was welcoming, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving a high-quality of halal sandwich
