I really wanted to love this place. I ordered a loaded baked potato with oxtail. The baked potato was supposed to also come with broccoli (according to the online description) in it that was missing and I was looking forward to that combination. Also, I am used to oxtail just falling off the bone in this situation it did not. However, once you bite into it it is very tender but lacking seasoning. I will say that the baked potato is huge which is a great plus.
I also ordered a Hennessy wings and fries. My food did still arrive hot but unfortunately due to packaging I want to say the fries were already very soggy and the chicken had no sauce on them was very dry and did not taste like anything like Hennessy wings.
For the price of this meal which was 50+ I would hope for better results. I will say that the pineapple mango ginger drink is good. Once I got all of the ginger chunks out of it, put it over some ice and her cake was pretty moist.

OK, so, the only time I leave a review is if it’s really good or really bad. This food was excellent‼️ Seasoned perfectly, not too salty, extra large portions, great price, the place was clean, Tasha and staff were amazing, great customer service, and I could go on. The plan was to take the food home, I started eating in the car. It was so good, I went back for potato salad. Even the strawberry lemonade was good. Not one complaint. I definitely recommend‼️

We LOVE Tasha’s. They are like 4 mins from my house and a lovely black owned local spot. Order ahead because they make everything fresh to order, so two entrees can take like 30-45 mins but it soooooo worth it. Because they are soooo bomb & they also do catering, the menu changes often and they run out of things fast especially on the weekends. But I DEFINITELY say give them a try. You’re welcome

This is my first and last time ordering. I ordered the fried whiting meal spent over $30 dollars and look what they send me. Why would you think I want meatballs and rice when I asked for fried fish? How disrespectful are you ? Who said I eat beef ? First impression is your best one and never again will I ever support. Food went straight to the trash.

This was our first time here and let me tell you!! Me and hubby absolutely LOVED the food!! OMG!! We ordered the Hennessey wings, Stewed Chicken with Cabbage, Rice with Peas & Plantains, Collard Greens, Sweet Potatoes, Fried Catfish (fillets), Cornbread, Sweet Potato Cornbread, and Banana Pudding!!
Everything was fantastic to the pallet! Nothing was bad!

From initial contact which was by phone was great the politeness, service was great, then placing my order and asking questions the representative was fluent of the menu providing me with the different options. I also like the different payment options by the time I got there which was from central ave my food was ready. Upon entering the establishment I was greeted well. No wait time for a acknowledgement nor food all members that I came in contact with was polite. Thank you I shall return the food was awesome

I never write restaurant reviews, but this food was TOO good not to mention. The portions are massive—I literally got two full meals out of it. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and worth every bite. If you’re even thinking about ordering, just do it. Zero regrets. Best food I have tasted in awhile.

The food here is sooo good. Me and my friend were recommended to come here and get something for our Halloween movie watch party. So we said why not? We were not disappointed in the slightest bit. You can smell the food down the street and the atmosphere when you walk in is 10/10. The staff inside are so nice. The portion are hefty and plentiful. The food was so delicious. I got their shrimp, fish and wings plate with fried okra, potato salad and sweet potato fries. My friend got the catfish, wings and fries plate with collard greens, candied yams and fried sweet plantains. We also decided to get their peach cobbler wings. Worth every penny.

from the vibes to your first bite.. this place is home away from home. you can LITERALLY feel the love and ancestors surround you in this restaurant. the owner is super sweet and staff and very kind and patient. it’s truly a community restaurant. this your momma cooking in the kitchen type food. do your taste buds a favor and go ! my family and i had such a great visit and we’ll absolutely be returning again. i ordered chicken stew, macaroni and cheese, yams and sweet plaintains. my son ordered a veggie plate and my partner had the honey jerk salmon with macaroni and cheese. we even had desert ! peach cobbler and another amazing dessert i wish i remembered.
