I love this coffee shop but this time I decided to go there for dinner w my daughter for my birthday. And we absolutely loved it. Beautiful ambience great food and an excellent service. The evening manager Alonzo was so sweet and kind. Showed us a great hospitality. Thank you Alonzo for making my birthday a memorable one. Our waitress Audrey was amazing too! The service was implacable. We will definitely be going back there again soon!

You can’t not love this place. Instant favourite! And truly upset at myself I didn’t make time to return or visit when I was in the Bay Area
The fig salad was hands down one of the best salads Ive had in ages! And the pastries speak for themselves.

The restaurant has only recently started opening in the evenings. Previously, it was better known for its café and delicious baked goods. We decided to visit the restaurant on a whim, were greeted very warmly, and were given a good table. Although we were tourists from Germany, we felt like part of the “family and friends” from the very beginning. The food is excellent (we had pizza, meatballs, and a delicious chocolate cake), and the wine selection is outstanding. The bread is delicious! The service is excellent and very friendly—we had the most wonderful evening there during our entire three-week trip to California. The restaurant manager is super nice and friendly, and we had very pleasant conversations with him. You can tell that he has ancestors from Europe and South America—he combines different hospitable cultures. If you’re in LA or Santa Monica, you should definitely eat here! We wish the restaurant continued success!

One of the best place for coffee and brunch in Santa Monica. It’s a bit of a line, but a lot of indoor and outdoor seating area

One of the best brunch spots I’ve found in L.A.! High-quality food with a great variety of pastries, cakes, and toasts. Coffee is served in ceramic cups when dining in — such a lovely touch. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating, and the service is excellent. Best of all, the price truly reflects the quality. Everything — food, service, ambiance — is worth it. Highly recommend!

Tartine in Santa Monica is a delightful spot for breakfast or brunch, especially when entertaining out-of-town guests. Their avocado toast is a standout—priced at $20, it’s a bit of a splurge, but the quality of the bread and fresh toppings make it worthwhile. The bakery is renowned for its exceptional bread, scones, and an array of mini desserts that are hard to resist.

The ambiance is inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating options. Ordering is done at the counter, and the staff brings your selections to the table. Parking is conveniently available in a neighboring lot, and there are public restrooms outside.

One of our favorite routines is picking up our order and heading towards the Santa Monica Pier to enjoy our meal on the benches—it’s a lovely way to start the day. While some items, like the $6 sparkling apple juice in a tiny can, feel overpriced, the overall experience and quality make it a worthwhile occasional indulgence.

If you haven’t visited yet, Tartine is a must-try for its outstanding bread and pastries.

Gorgeous interior and really nice outdoor sitting area. Matcha was done in literally 1 minute and it was quite good. Many pastry options, about 3 of them were gluten free.

Lovely, fresh, delicious.
The bakery has wide selection of bread and pastries, drinks, brunch, and salad options on the menu as well.
I can’t emphasize how much I loved the vibe and outdoor area. A bit line up on the weekends, however, the service is fast and smooth

Very cute spot in santa monica. Old church converted into a very charming cafe. Prices are little on the high side but basically what you expect from this neighborhood. The lemon tart is excellent!
