Tarte by Heritage – Woodinville, WA

This cute little bakery is what the wine country needed. From scratch bake shop, their croissants are to die for. So light and buttery, this is by far the best.

I bought 2 Pain au chocolats and 1 almond croissant for $18+.
It was ok. The outer shell wasn’t crisp or flaky. Inside bread part had a huge gap. Bought the bread at noon, which should have stayed crisp. Not sure if I bought day old. That was the texture.

The place has a cute vibe and it has coffee and bakery options.
While the strawberry latte i got was good, I did not like the croissant sandwich that they made. I ordered the one with egg, avocado, tomato. It was mushy and not tasty at all. I should have asked for a refund. I have had croissant sandwiches before and this one was very disappointing.

Clean and friendly. I only got take out and felt the baked goods were normal. I don’t think I’d come specifically back unless I was doing wine tasting. I’m sure their atmosphere is quite nice when there are more people around.

Spotted at Tarte on their grand opening day: Mayor Jarvis of the Town of Grace with other Grace dignitaries. Tarte is a beautiful space with a wonderful selection of gift items and delicious baked goods.

Mayor Jarvis treated all to yummy treats from the case and everyone loved their pastries!

Be sure to visit soon and say “hello” to Breanna and her welcoming staff. It’s great having a bakery in Woodinville at last!

I tried the vanilla breve latte that was delicious! My barista was willing to make it right since the first latte did not taste how I wanted. Genuinely one of my favorite coffees I’ve tried to date. Minimal allergy friendly options, so I’m unable to review the food.

Little seating inside, with some outside as well. There are different goods inside, however they certainly have the premium price tag. Ambiance is quaint, but not a sit down and socialize kind of place in my opinion. Overall, would love to come stop by for a coffee again.

Was very excited to visit this place going by reviews and location. Went for breakfast with a vegetarian friend and ordered an avocado and tomato breakfast sandwich in a croissant. The sandwich came with egg in it and when we pointed it out they said all breakfast sandwich come with egg as a standard. On pointing that all other sandwiches mentioned egg in menu description and it wasn’t mentioned on the menu for this sandwich, they reluctantly asked us if we would like a replacement. By then croissants were sold out, so we were offered a cold sub with tomato and avocado, not appetizing at all! Overall a bad experience too!

Good pastries and coffee, although overpriced. Low effort, bland, overpriced T.B.A sandwich – grocery store deli quality. Bad service. Ladies behind the counter are on their phones and not hiding it. I wanted to eat in and was never asked if I was eating in or getting to go so I was given everything to go, which resulted in lots of waste. Parking is paid, 2 hours are free if validated but I wasn’t asked about validating parking and had to go in and ask to do it after I forgot since we had a large order. Outside table was crooked, it tilts when you put your elbows on it. Will not be returning and do not recommend. This cafe is the result of gentrifying the area and bad city council decisions.

Staff is nice and coffee is good! However, the bacon egg cheese croissant was not great only because of the egg… patty? It was super spongy and not to my taste. I hate that texture and for the price I would have loved a fresh cooked egg – especially in this egg economy! The croissant and bacon was good.

I have a great espresso machine at home, but there are mornings when I just need someone else to make me coffee—and when I do, I go to Tarte.

There’s a barista there who is phenomenal—they’re all good, but she stands out. After weeks of not stopping in, she remembered my order. Not only that, she had it ready for me before I reached the front of the line. She’s fast, works solo during busy mornings, and still makes one of the best decaf cortados I’ve had anywhere.

And while you’re waiting for your coffee? You get to browse a shop full of beautifully curated, one-of-a-kind things. There’s always something new—something clever or beautiful or unexpected. You can tell someone behind the scenes has a real eye.

The food? Equally special. You can see the bakers working in the kitchen—there’s something really grounding and wonderful about that. Everything feels made with care, from the ingredients to the presentation.

And the people? That’s where Tarte really shines. One time, I left my wallet behind. I was flying out early the next morning and panicked when I realized it after they’d closed. I called the restaurant next door (same owners), and a staff member there went way above and beyond—tracking down the shift crew, finding where it had been stashed for safekeeping, and meeting me after hours to return it. He even refused a tip. That kind of kindness and trustworthiness is rare—and says so much about the culture this place has built.

This is more than just a coffee shop or bakery. It’s a business that cares—about its coffee, its food, its people, and its customers. Tarte has heart, and it shows.

Friendly staff and a very cute, gift shop, styled bakery. We felt like trying a new spot since we always frequent at Sidekick every time we pass through Woodinville. The pictures of the latte / coffee were what initially drew me into wanting to stop by, but both of our lattes had a thick chunk of foam on top and did not taste any different from your average drive-through coffee (burnt roast and overly frothed milk). While the coffee was a bit disappointing, the prices are pretty good considering what other cafes charge. I can’t speak into their baked goods / breakfast items since we only grabbed coffee – we might come back to try some.
