The Cream Cheese Lemon Curd Blueberry Pancakes were the most delicious pancakes ever! Light and fluffy, full of berries, and the toppings were a great finish!

We went during a very busy time. Then food was awesome.they even brought fruit to the table for my granddaughters to tide he over until her sliders got there. Food was hot and fresh. The staff was very helpful in giving requested advice and suggestions about events going on in the area. The only suggestion I have would be to please make customers aware of daily specials. We would have had the special but only saw it posted on the counter at check out. None the less, what we ordered was delicious. Will definitely go back when in the area.

Great breakfast and quality service. The local patrons/regulars really made our day. Several people stopped by our table to say hello and compliment our children. We are from Raleigh, visiting family. If you want to hang with the locals and experience the mountains/local food, don’t miss breakfast/brunch here.

What a great place for lunch. We had a large group and Reba took care of us. The food was delicious. One person said the BBQ was the best she had ever tasted. The service was outstanding. We will definitely return when we are in the area again.

I will start by saying the breakfast was very good. Eggs cooked perfect, liver mush was crispy on the outside. Delicious. 5 stars to the cook for sure. The service was not so great. Waited 5-10 min before we could order drinks. It was almost an hour before we got our food from the time we walked in. Service 3 stars. Decorated nice and pretty clean. We will be back for sure.

Ate breakfast there last week and I had the western omelet…price was ridiculous $10.25. Then I asked for cheddar cheese instead of American and they up charged me.$2.50 without telling me and I swear they still used American cheese. My omelet was sitting in liquid from all the veggies they didnt drain. One of the servers standing at the drink station flipped her hair to put it up in a pony tail and did it right over the open ice chest same place they fill your cup with ice. No hands were washed that I could see. It was just not good and for the price it is really not worth it.

Loved the atmosphere with kilts and Scottish decor. Food and service were good. Tomato pie had more cheese topping than tomatoes. Breakfast and lunch items until 2pm.

Had a great breakfast at The Tartan! Very professional service and the food was excellent! If we weren’t driving back home that day would have gone back for lunch! The three of us had the “Gordon”, 2 eggs, choice of grits, hash Browns and home fries, sausage, bacon, livermush, (this was my choice), biscuits or toast and some of the best coffee I’ve had in a restaurant in awhile. Will go back when we head back to the mountains!
