Tamales are life! Called ahead and they set our order to the side for a easy pick up. The sweet bread is good and sells fast! The Champurrado is light and very tasty!

I always expect things from Southeast Los Angeles to be very, very good. Today we came to a bakery that we heard good things about.
Inside it looks and smells like the real deal. The selection is great and the place is really popular. They sell tons of pan dulce, tres leches cakes, flans, and tamales, etc. Even champurrado.
I tried their Empanada de Piña (pineapple empanada or turnover) and it was disappointing. Empanadas de Piña are my favorite pan dulce. It looks beautiful from the outside but I did not really like the filling. The bread is ok but the filling isn’t that great. The filling color isn’t right. It’s too yellow. The flavor isn’t right.
The champurrado wasn’t very good either. Too thin and not very chocolatey.
They are in a huge parking lot.

This morning I got the mocha tres leches cake and it was the best cake I’ve ever had. Not overly sweet how most tres leches cakes are and the mocha wasn’t too overpowering either. I’m a big bread lover and the bread here was also amazing! Concha’s are so soft!

I recommend this bakery 100%. We all loved my daughters cake and it was absolutely delicious. Some bakeries do a great job on making the cake look beautiful but the taste is always off but this bakery nailed both the taste and the presentation. Thank you! I will be back.

I had never eaten a cake from here so I took a big gamble when ordering from here for my nephew birthday cake. But when I say Cake was exactly how I pictured it, I am not doing it any justice. It looked amazing! And tasted delicious too! My family and I were so amazed at how great of a cake this was. I will definitely be buying from here again! Not to mention the people who work here were super polite and helpful.
