This is one of the most wonderful places that I’ve ever been in. When you walk in, its so very inviting and it smells what I would imagine Santa’s house smelling like. The owner is super sweet very kind and the staff is so professional and so welcoming. Now on to the deserts and the food, I don’t know that there are words to describe it. The cookies are Beyond delicious and the breakfast casserole that my wife ordered was absolutely fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about this bakery. One thing I can say for absolute certainty is if you have not tried it you are definitely missing out!

I finally had the opportunity to visit Tart and Tartan Bakery, nestled within Opelika’s charming shopping district, and it was well worth the wait. From the moment I stepped inside, the air was filled with the most wonderful, warm aroma of fresh baking. The bakery itself was immaculately clean and presented a very welcoming atmosphere.
I indulged in one of their brownies and selected a couple of cookies. Each item was absolutely divine – the brownie was rich and deeply flavorful, while the cookies possessed that perfect, tender quality that truly seemed to melt in my mouth. If you find yourself near Opelika’s shopping area, stopping into Tart and Tartan for a treat is highly recommended.

Great local bakery. The Carmel Blondie was amazing. The Tea Cakes and Creme de Menthe Brownies are also really good. Look out for the Tea Cakes as they are available for special occasions.

Cute little bakery in town. They had some fridges with what looked to be premade lunch/dinner meals. The chocolate chip cookie is 10/10. The espresso tarts was fabulous! The lemon melts were too airy for me. Immediately melted if you like that but I like more of a butter base cookie. The thumbprints were the same melt and I like something more for those. Staff was kind.

Amazing customer service, quality, value, and taste! I called and was able to pick up a lemon meringue pie and carrot cake the same day! The space is very bright and inviting, and the desserts were amazing. My family said the carrot cake was the best they have ever had.

Best chocolate cake! Decorating was not the best but like the girl told me if I wanted decorated cakes I needed to go across the street. But the cake itself was AMAZING !

Delicious cookies and cupcakes! They have a wide variety, and even dips and casseroles (haven’t tried yet, but look so good and will try soon!). The cookies are perfectly chewy and soft, and the cupcakes were moist and so tasty. It’s such a cute place, try it, you won’t be disappointed. Added note, you can’t beat the price!

My husband and I took our 2 small children here last week for a cupcake treat. The cupcakes were delicious! My daughter especially liked the frosting.
