Second time here. A little spendy but OMG sooo delicious. The epanada’s are to die for. The steak, shrimp and sausages cook and seasoned perfectly. A nice elegant atmosphere. The staff are some of the most friendliest folks. Attentive but not overbearing. Definitely one of my new favorite spots.

Went here for a valentines special, should have left when the waiter took a phone call while attempting to seat us for our 1230 reservation. We got there at 1227, they did not unlock the doors when they saw us waiting. We were served a valentine menu, price $150/2. When I asked the waiter about the empanadas he could not tell me what they were filled with, even after consulting the chef. I was torn between the baby lamb chops in wine sauce or the prime rib. I asked the waiter for a wine suggestion, I told him I preferred a sweet wine. He read the white wine on the list that said (sweet). Usually a red wine would be paired with those two items. They brought us both empanadas and salad. The empanadas were OK. We were unable to identify one of the fillings, possibly just cheese, that one was barely filled. There was a red pepper in it (one diced), there was no meat. We looked their empanadas up online, there is supposed to be a red pepper chicken. But, there was no meat in that empanadas. I asked for ranch dressing for my salad and was told they were out. I chose Bleu cheese. I was served 1 Tblspn of white dressing which contained no Bleu cheese for both of us. My husband asked for more and received the same scant quantity. We ordered prime rib and the baby lamb chops. The lamb chops were almost well done, definitely overcooked. The prime rib was a grisly piece of chewy end of the roast. Both entrees were served without their sides. The sides came 10- 15 minute earlier. I got my mashed potatoes five minutes before my husband got his vegetables. Both sides were sub par. My husbands vegetables were very hard. We were then served one piece of cake. To be fair the menu did say a slice of cake. But for $150 we should not have to share a dessert. The cake was decent, but we could not determine if it was a strawberry or raspberry filling with the lemon cake. It was at least a good as Sara Lee frozen cake. The atmosphere was nice. See pictures posted in review. I will not come back.

Tarquin Argentinian Restaurant was such a great experience from start to finish. The service was amazing, and our server was incredibly friendly and patient while explaining the menu and helping us choose. His recommendations were spot on.

One of the biggest highlights of the night was the live singer who performs a few times throughout the evening. It added so much to the experience and made the whole atmosphere feel special. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has such a warm, inviting vibe.

Something I really appreciated is that they truly take their time with your order because everything is made fresh to order. This is definitely not a quick “in and out” kind of place, and that’s exactly what I loved about it. It’s meant for slowing down, enjoying the company you’re with, and soaking in the experience.

The food was incredible. The empanadas were packed with flavor (we didn’t even get a picture because they disappeared so fast), and the meat was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. They also have a great wine list, which was the perfect finishing touch.

Overall, it was an awesome evening and we will absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

Support a great local restaurant! If you are looking for that perfect romantic dinner setting, look no further! Tarquin’s at the intersection of Cliff Ave & Benson Rd is it! Gabriel and his staff make your entire experience memorable. They have a great wine selection, coupled with an excellent dining selection. They work hard to make your evening out a special one. And a little secret…..Gabriel will sing to your special someone by request, but be sure to tip him well, as he has a voice made for the opera! Jenni, our server did a great job as well, and had a smile on her face the entire time.

Great Argentinian restaurant, felt like home. Although the desserts weren’t our favorites, the parrilla was amazing. The chimichurri was excellent and so was their homemade bread. I should have taken a pic of the empanadas but they were so good I ate them in about ten seconds. The best takeaway from this visit was our waiter though, Adahir, he was the sweetest most attentive individual. Overall a great experience!

The food is always outstanding. Chef Gabriel is a talent both in and out of the kitchen(if you happen to have the privilege to hear him sign opera)
Support this chef owned and operated establishment!
Their wine options are great, several options to choose from to complement the food.
I recommend the butter milk shrimp, all the empanadas, the milanesa, and chef choice pasta!
Pro tip: order 12 empanadas to take whatever you don’t finish home.

Wow! I love this place! I was reminded of growing up in LA where authentic restaurants like this are a hidden gem. The dishes are made from scratch and it shows. Our server was the owner and it showed in his pride of the restaurant. I had the fresh made Canelones de Carne; melt in your mouth crepes filled with beef and bechamel and topped with fresh parm. My dining companion had the Chicken Parmigiana and it was to die for. Worth every penny. I will be back.

Hands down the best restaurant in a 500mile radius. With steak cooked to perfection over open charcoal, rivaling most midtown manhattan steakhouses.
Given the chance I would not even look at the menu but tell chef Gabriel your budget and let him create a beautiful four course meal with a perfect wine pairing every time.
Everything this man touches is golden. Fantastic food, amazing service, lovely atmosphere. I wish there was a six star option.
