Parking wasn’t a problem on Saturday; plenty of spots were open even though the restaurant sits at the end of a road. Once inside, the view stole the show the water breeze, the docks, and the relaxed setting made the meal even better. Because my daughter has a gluten allergy, she ordered a vegan burger wrapped in lettuce, and it was handled thoughtfully. We also shared gator bites (fantastic!) and I enjoyed a Caesar salad topped with blackened salmon delicious. Our friends were equally impressed with their choices, and the server was attentive and friendly throughout.
After lunch, we strolled out to the deck, snapped pics, and even saw a baby alligator lazily swimming by a memorable bonus. The restaurant supports boat traffic too, with 16 slips available for guests arriving by water.
If I were giving advice to someone heading there: be ready for a bit of a drive along smaller roads off main arteries, ask for lakeside seating, and arrive before the lunch rush to enjoy the full experience.
I must say over the last year or so it’s been the best ever! Food was great. Service was excellent. The location (right on Lake Tarpon) has always been good.
Their drinks were also very good.
I would recommend this place to friends and family.
For appetizers we had the banging shrimp flat bread which was delicious and very shareable for 2 people. For dinner I had the Halibut fish n chips and my wife had the salmon. Both were ok. The price for the amount of salmon was a bit too much. The fish and chips were very good. For dessert we had the turtle cheesecake. It was not that good. To drink I had an Old Fashion and my wife had a jalapeno margarita. Both were over priced and not very good.
