We had a fantastic dining experience at Tarpon House! The ahi salad was incredibly fresh, and the cut of ahi was beautiful and clean. While I personally prefer a sesame-seared style, the pepper sear was still delicious and well-executed. The shrimp tacos were another highlight—flavorful, fresh, and perfectly balanced.
Our server Ari was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. The hostess went above and beyond by moving our table to the end of the balcony, giving us the best sunset view in the house. That thoughtful gesture really elevated the entire evening.
Excellent food, beautiful atmosphere, and top-notch service—Tarpon House is a must-visit if you’re in the area!

Like the other Marriott restaurants on site, the waitress and service were top notch!! We were greated right away by what appeared to be a manager. We were given the option of indoor/outdoor. The waitress was very helpful, kind and knowledgeable about the menu items. The food was decent, but not for the price point…I get that it’s a resort and we’re on vacation, but I think charging $9 per egg is excessive and taking advantage of the fact that there are no other breakfast options nearby. My poached eggs over hash plate was delicious because I didn’t use the hollandaise sauce that had no flavor…salt and pepper did the trick. The name of the meal has the word “scallions ” in it….they were merely sprinkled on the blank parts of the plate and weren’t enough to add any flavor. The coffee was bold and strong, which I really like. The buffet is around $23pp unless you want to add an egg, then it goes up to around $28pp. Like other reviews, I agree that the views are phenomenal!

Staying at the resort, no wait, restaurant is not very busy. Seated quickly, water at table, order drinks. Drinks take 15 mins to get to table. Weird.
Order appetizer (salt and pepper calamari w/wasabi dipping sauce). Takes forever to arrive. Waitress is slow to table to check in and slower with drinks. Finally, calamari arrives. Dip in the sauce and…..the sauce is entirely nayonnaise. Nothing else. Wait forever for waitress to come by, explain to her, wait forever for her to return with correct dipping sauce which is no mayo w/wasabi, but my calamari is cold, they took so long.
Order dinner. A cheese burger, medium. Again, slow as hell for a well staffed restaurant. Finally arrives, and it’s rare. Can tell on the plate as I ordered it cut in half. Still came out that way. Sweet potatoes fries were cold and undercooked.

Me and my sister stayed at the resort for a birthday staycation. We went to Tarpon House for dinner and Adit was our server. He was wonderful. Very kind and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. We both got the miso glazed sea bass which was so delicious!!! It was cooked to perfection. It was a fantastic experience and I can’t wait to visit again.

Titanium members here and this was the absolute worst Marriott experience we have ever had. Waited 10 minutes for a host, 10 minutes for a server, 25 minutes for drinks, an hour and a half for our salads and finally left at the two hour mark without our entrees. Surrounding tables which had been waiting even longer also left. The server was very apologetic, but enough was enough.

Nice modern restaurant with an amazing buffet. It was overpriced and the food was almost all overcooked. Our waiter came to check on us once the whole time.

I had the conch soup, it was delicious. I went back another night and had the blackened mahi tacos. They were fresh and very tasty. I sat outside and watched the sunset. The service is good. The restaurant is clean and lovely.

Had multiple meals here including breakfast buffet, lunch and dinners. Everything has been delicious and high quality from the quesadillas to Cali and pesto chicken sandwiches to the chicken Milanese. Their croissants and salami taste like I’m in Europe! Staff is full of great people from diverse backgrounds. All are super polite and friendly and make you feel like you’re VIP. Food comes out very fast and the view is amazing whether you’re sitting inside or outside.
