This place is awesome. Taro chips with guacamole. Love to have this in our neighborhood.
Their pork chili soup is awesome, too!
The grilled oysters are super tasty.
This place has a real Chef. Unique dishes and ideas.
Cocktails are great, too, unique and pairs well.

Food is fantastic. All the dishes were so tasty and had a great presentation. We had Ahi Tuna ceviche, and calamari for appetizers. It is the best ceviche I have had so far, very refreshing and delish. Calamari was on the bed of white rice with some surprisingly good sauce. We had Steak and Fries and Stuffed chicken for dinner. Steak was cooked just right and with the cheesy sauce on top, yummy! Stuffed chicken was great too.
The restaurant is new and clean. Service is great, very attentive. Definitely we will come back to try other dishes.

Superrrr fresh delicious latin cuisine.
We got the calamari, red snapper plate, and fish tacos. The calamari was small, thick rounds and had a hushpuppy tasting batter. I typically prefer a panko type of crust but this was tasty! I appreciated that each one was small enough to eat whole if preferred. I’d give this dish 4/5
The fish tacos were made from beer battered red snapper that was perfectlyyy cooked. Snapper has the tendency to dry out quickly so I was surprised just how juicy the fish was. The slaw and sauce also complimented the fish well. 5/5
The snapper plate came with a side of lightly sautéed veggies and cilantro rice. I really appreciated that the vegetables were not an after thought and were cooked well but still nice and crisp. The fish was grilled and imo was slightly overcooked. Not much- as it wasn’t dry at all. maybe just by 1-2min. The sauce made up for it though! 5/5
Lastly we got the top shelf margaritas. Appreciated that they used a repasado tequila and the flavors were well balanced.
Will definitely return in future when in the area.

This Latin cuisine restaurant definitely deserves its 5 ⭐️⭐️ or even more. The atmosphere is great and service excellent. The chef came personally to introduce himself and the waiters are all friendly, yet very professionally. The food is succulent. We had a Caesar salad, enchiladas, kid quesadilla and the owner’s platter. Also had a mocktail and flan to go.
We even had a treat from the chef.
Definitely do recommend. Will not regret. Worth the money.

Taro Kitchen / Cocktail is a wonderful local spot. We have been 3 times now, and have tried different menu items each time. They are all great! The Taro cocktail is refreshing, and once we saved room and tried a couple of desserts. The chef/owner Marvin is from Guatemala and throws a nice twist to traditional Tex-Mex food. The waiters are all nice, professional, and are able to handle multiple tables at a time. Attached photos are the Brisket Birria tacos with flour tortillas, Shrimp tacos with corn tortillas, Berta’s Mole Cake, and Cheesecake Mini Chimichangas. Give it a try!!

The food here is legit. They are really cooking back there. Transforming fresh ingredients into dishes for your table. Get the dobladas/empanadas to start. The carne asada lunch was well executed, as was the chile relleno. Shame there weren’t more people there on a Friday at lunch. We will be back soon.

Tried for the first time since it transitioned from Taco Cielo and we were pleasantly surprised! The new space is very nicely done, more sophisticated than I was expecting. As for the food, we were impressed by everything we tried! The drinks were fresh and they have a good variety. I strongly recommend the Paleta margarita & the frozen peach marg! I love that they bring you 3 different salsas with the chips too. The brisket birria tacos were phenomenal. The queso is good too. Overall 5/5 stars! Can’t wait to be back!

Went on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch. Cozy ambiance, delicious food and great service. We enjoyed our lunch a lot. Their salsa was unique but little. Best coconut shrimp tacos they have and the cocktail, Ruso was our favorite. Definitely recommend this place.
