This was a fabulous first time experience! A lot of of our family and friends in the area have suggested this restaurant to us and we have finally decided to give it a try ! We Had dinner here last night Sunday, February 1 Around 4:30 PM, and it was our first time ever having Indian cuisine. We absolutely loved it! The food was hot, fresh and delicious! The restaurant was very clean, and all of the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming! The food with jam packed with flavor! I did appreciate that the kabobs did not come on sticks because it was much easier to eat. We will definitely be back!

Very flavorful and good tasting dishes, also the food colors pop right out, which makes the food look very appealing. I like that you can up the spice level. Cashier was very polite and made some dish suggestions which were right on point to what I was craving. The cheese naan bread was ok. The strawberry rose lemonade was refreshing, not overly sweetened.

Fast service, friendly staff, delicious food! So glad we found out about Tarka! Each time we’ve been, the food has been served hot and fresh. Portions are good sized. We love that they have vegan options as well as vegetarian ❤️ everything we’ve tried on the menu has been delicious. We highly recommend.

Painfully average Indian food. Idk why I wasted $35+ to get this. The naan bread was bland & dry. The chicken in the chicken biryani was chewy, not tender, and aside from the spicy aspect, the rice was flavorless. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this place.

I had dropped off someone at the nearby country club and had time to go eat. I saw that Tarka was close and I was craving indian food. I was ordering at the self order kiosk but I had forgot to put money in the bank that day, and they only take card here. But one of the employees stepped in, understand the situation, and allowed me to order in cash for this time. I thanked them greatly, and ended up ordering more than I wanted to initially lol

I ordered the tikkia masala fries, garlic naan, and the tikkia masala curry (extra hot with chicken). The fries were seasoned very well and paired surprisingly perfectly with the tikkia. The garlic naan was warm and tasted amazing and the curry was piping hot and not too spicy for being extra hot (granted I eat spicy food on the regular, so be warned if you can’t handle the spiciness) but it was amazing regardless. 5 stars for the food but especially 5 stars for the customer service!

Great place for really good food. Everything was tasty and all the sauces have awesome flavors. Electronic ordering and payment only. Easy to see menu, scroll through food, and place your order. Each dish is made fresh, so your wait will probably depend on how busy it is. Well worth a try, and we will definitely be back.

It is great find of some delicious Indian cuisine in the San Antonio area. Finally, I got a chance to stop by and try this spot and am very pleased with the results. The meal was tasty and filling, with just the right amount of spice and flavor. The only thing lacking was some dessert options, but don’t let that stop you. This place is truly a gem

This place is great! My boyfriend recommended this restaurant to me a while ago and we decided to give it a try together. Long story short…the food was amazing! I ordered the Tikka Masala with Lamb in Mild along with Naan. Staff is very nice and the ambience is super calm and it’s a very pretty establishment. Definitely come check this place out if you’re here in SATX!

Great Indian meal out with the family. Staff was friendly and patient while we put in our giant order. Food was very good. Lots of options. We sat outside and ended up having to take a lot of leftovers home but they heated up well the next day.

Portions are pretty big! We ordered something in both mild and medium. Medium has good heat without being too much. Mild was just a nice whisper of a kick.
