This is a family-owned restaurant. Small but the food was absolutely delicious! They offer a variety of menu items. Everything is made fresh in house. The indoor seating is very limited as most of their space is outside in the back patio. We went there at around 2pm on a Friday. Staff were very friendly and attentive. However, we did wait for quite some time for our food, didn’t really expect that since we were the only table at that time.

We were visiting from out of town and looking for gluten free options. Found this little gem! Patio seating had a great vibe – heaters at each table, as needed – overhead Edison lights Loved it. They are not a dedicated gluten free facility, but were very attentive to my gluten allergy, etc. Gluten free plates are marked with a sticker. My son said the gluten free bread (they bring out with menus) was better than the regular bread. I ordered the GF chicken parm and it did not disappoint. We split a GF pizza at the table – the crust was crispy but thicker than any other GF crust I’ve had – wasn’t my fav but that doesn’t mean you won’t love it! As a GF person who doesn’t get to enjoy pasta often when we eat out, I’d highly recommend any of their pastas. The hubs enjoyed my chicken parm and my son loved his chicken fettuccine Alfredo. We’d definitely visit again if we’re back in Pasadena.

Tardino Brothers is a true Pasadena gem! Family-owned and operated for nearly 50 years, it has that warm, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. Frank, one of the owners, even came out to chat with us for a few minutes—our kids were so charmed they asked for a photo with him before we left!
The food was excellent from start to finish. They start you off with delicious bruschetta, setting the tone perfectly. We tried the crispy brussel sprouts, the Death Star pizza, Jojo Spicy pasta, and marinara pasta with meatballs—all packed with flavor and made with love.
The back patio is the perfect spot to catch a Dodgers game while enjoying your meal. Between the friendly service, tasty dishes, and family atmosphere, it’s easy to see why this spot has been a Pasadena favorite for decades. Definitely worth making it your new go-to! ⚾

My fiance and I went to our valentines date here cause it had good reviews. Unfortunately we didn’t love our experience. I will say that our server was lovely so this is nothing against the service we received. What didn’t work for us was, first, that it was sooooo cold inside I was very uncomfortable the whole time. Second, they are a small staff and the wait for our food after ordering was about 45 minutes. They did acknowledge that though and brought us salad to feed us while we were waiting, so that was nice that they cared. Again, nothing against the staff. Third, we do not think the food was good. Something just seemed off, like it was undercooked maybe cause they were behind or something. We just didn’t enjoy it at all. Going out is expensive so it’s just really unfortunate when it’s not a good experience. We don’t go out much so we were really bummed out.

So many gluten-free options, including CANNOLIS and a delicious array of other creamy desserts! Great service with a family feel. Both inside and outside dining are cozy. The outdoor space is able to accommodate large groups and would be ideal for group events. This place is a gem!

I’m gluten free, because of a wheat allergy. This place offers extensive gluten free options – way more than just about any other Italian restaurant I have encountered. The beef lasagna was pretty good; the gluten free cheese bread served with the lasagna was excellent. The gluten free pizza was built on a doughy chewy dry thick crust which I found to be unpleasantly disappointing.

This was truly one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I can’t emphasize enough how appreciated it is it to be so accommodating for those of us who need to eat gluten free. I’m celiac and I haven’t had chicken parm in over a decade. I don’t think I’ve ever been given garlic bread with a pasta dish. I didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything. It was SO good. The waitress was also very kind.

Cute place! It felt like you were dining with your family. Food was delicious and service was excellent. Desserts looked amazing but we were too full to try them. The amount of gluten free options was impressive! We would definitely order from here again.

First time trying Tardino’s. Had to try the lasagne because so many great reviews about it. It carries a strong pesto flavor, heavy on the ricotta and no discernible meat. I am assuming the takeout container doesn’t allow for much sauce so we will try that in house next time. It was very rich and tasty. Definitely noteworthy. Did I mention this was an order for 11 people? So, we were fortunate to try a few different dishes. Salads are excellent! The fresh fruit, burrata is heavenly as was the pear gorgonzola salad. The special JoJo individual pizza was reminiscent of focaccia with cheese and quite tasty as well. The margarita pizza was excellent , the eggplant was excellent, the chicken alfredo was creamy and cooked perfectly although it lacked chicken. I think we found four slices of chicken altogether. The spicy JoJo pasta, one regular and one Gluten Free, both delicious but not much spice. Thanks to the crushed red peppers they provided, we were able to ramp up the heat. The carbonara was good but nothing noteworthy. Lots of garlic cheese bread was provided. The meatballs are a must have. The staff help during our pick up time was excellent. Friendly and helpful. The interior is clean and comfortable. We will definitely be returning. Looking forward to it. Super excited they have so many gluten free options. Also worth mentioning is the philly style sandwich. It was huge and packed full of meat.

I really enjoyed the food that I ordered from tardino Brothers great flavor and spice on all the dishes. I ordered cheesy garlic bread with a Cobb salad, pizza, and spaghetti with a meatball. I could definitely tell that the pasta is made fresh everyday. The garlic bread was perfect addition to the delicious Cobb salad. I ordered a sausage meatball mushroo onion 12-in build your own pizza. Great flavor and texture. What I ordered easily was good for 2 to 3 people. Very good value for the dollar.
I ordered delivery after talking with tardinos on the phone. I was told that they do not have their own the delivery service and that I would need to order from GrubHub or Uber eats etc. I ordered from Uber eats. I really do wish that they had their own delivery service
I can’t wait to try some of the other items that were on their menu.
