Beyond the food, their hospitality completely won our hearts. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday, and the team surprised us with a beautifully custom-made birthday cake along with heartfelt wishes. It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture that made the evening unforgettable.
Great food, authentic flavors, and unbelievable hospitality—Tarang Indian Restaurant truly stands out. We sincerely wish them all the success in their restaurant journey and hope they continue to shine in this area. Highly recommended!
Food-wise, the Salt & Pepper Baby Corn and Karam Podi Gobi were outstanding and are the standout! —crispy, flavorful, and well-seasoned. We also tried the Gobi 65—it wasn’t spicy at all, but it was light and not oily, which made it decently enjoyable.
In Indo-Chinese, we tried Paneer Fried Rice which was fresh and light, cooked with just the right amount of oil.
We also loved the Bullet Naan paired with Malai Kofta and Palak Paneer—both gravies were smooth, creamy, and perfectly flavored. The Corn Soup also turned out to be surprisingly good!
Highly recommend giving this new spot a try if you’re in the area. Amazing Indian food, welcoming vibe, and a lovely updated space! A Promising New Spot in Hillsborough!
The place had just opened up a couple of days prior.
Warmly greeted by the owner himself.
We ordered mirchi bajji, tarang chicken curry, spicy veg noodles and naan.
The chicken curry gravy was mind blowing ly good. Chicken was tender and the spice level and flavors spot on.
We loved the veg noodles too…especially the char suble flavors that are evident in India.
The mirchi bajji was spicy and the podi on top of it added another level of creativity and deep flavors.
We tried their virgin mojito and summer shandy.
The skills of the owner, as aa mixologist shows in the drinks.
I went back a second time and had the same drink. Absolutely loved it.
Second time we ordered baby corn with kharam podi, jaipuri Bhindi and naans.
Baby corn as crispy andmildly spicy. Beautiful executed appetizer. Worth a third visit for that.
Bhindi jaipuri was flavorful with the right amount of flavors.
The naans are a pure Hit! Not thick and not stretchy. Perfectly done naans.
Well, done Tarangians . Hoping that the quality remains where it started.
Paneer Guntur -5 star( very unique)

I am actually writing this review a week after my experience because the owner truly impressed me. I still recall how excellent the food and service was. I wish I remember my exact order so I could give a recommendation, but you really can’t go wrong here. Hope anyone reading this gets the chance to enjoy Tarang as well!
P.S. I ate with Indian friends and they enjoyed their food with the added spices. They said it was “an authentic blend of the best Indian food.”
