My ultimate favorite place to buy tamales. I drive all the way from Lee’s Summit just to get my tamales and menudo. Food is excellent.

Good food, good portions – the atmosphere is a bit rustic for some – I personally didn’t mind it one bit. No public restroom – small parking area, and small dining area are the downticks. It does have a drive through window, the staff is pleasant and the flavors and seasonings are delicious.

I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant. If you’re looking for a truly authentic place to eat some amazing Mexican food, this is the place. They’ve got a small dining area with outdoor seating. The staff is friendly. The food was extremely tasty. I got the Bean Burrito combo. The hot sauce was very spicy but had a great flavor. Would recommend this highly.

I had the two deep fried tacos rice and beans combo. Beans were very creamy and good. After that I didn’t really care for anything. Tacos had no real flavor. My mother had a tamale it was very grainy and dry. My Aunt had a chicken enchilada and hard shell taco. She liked the enchilada but didn’t care for the taco. Wouldn’t go back.

This is a phenomenal diamond in the rough. This family owned restaurant has perfected their recipes. The portions are generous. You may have to wait as items are made to order. Definitely try the tamales as well. I took home a dozen with the spicy (it was) sauce and was delighted along with my family

Inside, there were 4 tables. It is very small but very delicious. You can call and place an order, and they have a drive thru for pick up. We have had the tamales, deep fried shredded beef tacos, birria tacos with consume, and ground beef crunchy tacos. Love this place.

Ordered an assortment of tacos, chicken, al pastor, and barbacoa. The tacos were outstanding; the meats seasoned to perfection, the tortillas fresh off the griddle, and the fresh tasting salsas tying it altogether. I could eat these every day.
