Just stunning inside. Very romantic meal next to the koi, lush plants, and statuary. Food was next level. Hubby’s duck was so tender and perfectly cooked. The chef went over and above making me a dish not on the menu anymore. Best mi grob ever! I went for a 2 in spice where his larb was a 4. Definitely different levels that worked best with the dishes.

This was our first time there… my friend and I going to Tara Thai. There was absolutely nothing to complain about the atmosphere is beautiful inspiring and peaceful. The food was insane. Very flavorful they cater to my dietary needs and of course as you can see looked like art. The service there was spectacular. It’s a family-owned restaurant everyone there was so incredibly nice to us sincerely nice and I must say the best part of our visit was meeting Olivia she was our waitress as you can see in the pictures, she is the daughter of the owners. She was a delight and talked with us a bunch and was sincere from the heart with her kindness. As she said she’s a manager in training 🙂 we cannot say enough good things about here. If you’d like to try refreshing healthy incredible food with an incredible atmosphere and incredible service this is your place to come guys they are located in downtown beautiful Prescott! Come and try them and support local owned businesses and please don’t forget to leave your review with pictures thank you again at Tara Thai we shall be back and bring people with us ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

It’s an open space with nice decor. I went in for lunch. There was only one server on staff. He was very nice but he had to run all the tables by himself which delayed things.
Plan on spending a decent time here just waiting.
The food portions were great, and flavor really good. However, I’ve had better Thai for the same price.
I might look at other places first but if you’re in the area it’s not bad. Mostly lack of servers. Other customers weee waiting a long time too. They also didn’t have any change on hand for cash, so make sure you have a card.
I wouldn’t mind trying again. The server worked hard to keep everything going.

Excellent Thai food. We arrived and were seated promptly. They advised us that this was all scratch made and the food doesn’t come fast. We ordered and the food was great. It also didn’t take as long as they hinted. I like it spicy and they did not disappoint. They probably could have used another server to stay on top of drinks better but, hiring is tough. Any service shortfalls were more than made up for by the cool atmosphere and great food.

The “hidden” banquet room was an absolute bonus in housing our fairly large sized group.

The service was genuinely excellent. Friendly, attentive, and relaxed without feeling rushed. The ambience is a big win too. Dim lighting, candles, peaceful music, and there’s even a fish pond in the middle of the restaurant, which makes the whole space feel calm and inviting.
They have a full bar and a solid wine selection, which was a great bonus. Location is perfect right in downtown, easy to walk to and a great spot for dinner or drinks.
Overall, amazing food, great service, and a really relaxing atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back.

The best Thai food in the Quad Cities and maybe the state. The atmosphere is classy. Our server, Jaimy, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He made recommendations and suggestions. The owner took time to introduce herself and talk with us. We will definitely be back.

We got seated for our reservation and ordered. An hour and half later we hadn’t gotten our food and the waitress stopped coming by. We were reasonably upset as our baby was getting fussy and we were all hungry. We were there for a birthday and it was turning to a night of frustration more than anything. I got the attention of a different waitress and asked to speak to a manager. She said our waitress up and quit, and they were super busy. I told her I understood, but I would like to speak to a manager. Looking around, tables were getting their food and flipped that got there well after us. We were a small group, and there really wasn’t that many people in the establishment. The manager came over right when our food did arrive, and didn’t say anything- just walked away. The manager gave us a discount, but it was after demanding that they did something due to the bad experience. The manager would not come and talk to us, and the owner who reply’s to these comments was not made aware by her staff.
I used to like Tara Tai because it was always a nice environment, but I wouldn’t recommend them at all anymore. Learning that they are not under new management just shows that their service is in a steady decline.
