Charging 7 dollars for 1 taco should be illegal, and to top it off, the tacos are small. Not even tacos in nyc are this expensive. For this price I’m expecting heavenly taste. The tacos itself were good but nowhere near the 7 dollar price point. The consomé was too salty and barely had flavor. The staff let my order in the cold weather outside without calling my name so my food was cold when I got it.

The crispy beef birria tacos were amazing. Flavorful beef, thin and crispy tortilla, great salsa. Love the garnish of shaved radish and picked onions. This is the only birria taco that I like. You also have to try the breakfast burritos! In many other places, potatoes seem like a filler ingredient. The potatoes in this breakfast burrito are so well seasoned that they are the star of the dish. Hiram balances the flavors in every dish. And Bow Market is super inviting, just want to hang out in the courtyard.

Birria ramen broth is always good. Same with the carne asada rice bowl and the birria tacos. Every order is flavorful and seasoned well. The different salsas are amazing too. I really can’t complain.
Portions are solid and everything tastes consistent every time we go. It’s one of those places you just keep craving and coming back to.

Stopped by Taquisimo in Somerville during Fluff Fest to try their churros with Fluff and they did not disappoint! Super crunchy, warm, and gooey. I only wish they came with a little more Fluff, but overall they were delicious. The line was long but moved quickly, and service was friendly. The actual location is small so it’s not a sit in kind of place but given that it’s now market, on any other day, seating would be plentiful. Definitely hit the spot for a sweet fix we were looking for.

I’m gonna start with I can’t eat Mexican food in the Boston area because I think it’s only a few above chipotle. But this is the best food I’ve had since I ate in California. The birria ramen which ive been dying to try was incredible. I literally have been talking to my friends and family about it all day. My only complaint is I didn’t order enough to take home.

TAQUISMO is now my favorite taqueria in the Boston area. Hiram and the team make the best birria I’ve ever had. Tonight, I ordered three Crispy Beef Birria Tacos (which comes with a delicious consomme), a Griddled Quesa Birria Quesadilla, and a lime Jarritos. I meant to share with my family. I ate it all. No shame and no regrets. I can’t wait to return!

Awesome top-notch birria. My family really enjoyed the bowls and burritos, and the owner went the extra mile to make our order more than right after a miscommunication. Note for the winter, there’s only outside seating, but the bow market has a cool vibe and was decked out nice for the holidays.
