We parked and just walked up on this restaurant. They serve 3 dips with their nachos. Their salsa was very different but delicious. Not really hot but spicy. The avocado cream dip was amazing. Never had anything like it. And lastly a creamy refried bean. Which were really good. The mixture was good enough to eat by themselves. My wife ordered the three chicken tinga chicken tacos. They were stuffed full and originally delicious. I had the shrimp and lobster taco. The lobster was picked like in lobster rolls. The shrimp and lobster were mixed with mixed with spinach and jack cheese. This was really great, I am glad it was my choice. Definitely a place we would return to.

What a cute little place. The food was amazing and the margaritas were really good. The staff was really great. The location was just in the downtown area. It was nice because they had a nice seating area outside. The chips and salsa was tasty. There were two kinds of salsa. We will be back on the area in Jan and are looking forward to coming back here again.

Wow ! it said they have the best chips and salsa, and they do ! The refried beans were my favorite. The Mrs. loved the barracho beans and her $5 margaritas . Joe was a very attentive waiter. Fantastic !

Was excited to come here on vacation as the photos and reviews seemed great. The food was good but my gosh yall have to get rid of that great value Velveeta fake cheese queso. Was horrible. It was so thick and it only stays hot for a few mins before it gets cold and once its too cold its so thick you cant even really enjoy it. I can’t believe we paid $10 for that small bowl of fake cheese. If you’re a Mexican restaurant you have to make the effort to get better queso on the menu. NOT FAKE CHEESE. Also, the Jalapeño ranch? Tasted off…. But other than that, the main dishes were good and flavorful BUT we were very nervous for our food after getting the queso and the weird salsas.

Everything from the food, atmosphere, staff and margaritas were amazing! We shared the mixed grill and numerous different happy hour $5 margaritas! Our server Zelda was a delight! She even made us a mystery margarita that was Superb! This mixed grill had the most tender steak and chicken seasoned excellently. It even had bacon wrapped shrimp and numerous vegetables. We only wished we lived closer so we could enjoy this place often!

We went this past Sunday and the food was amazing! Everything tasted fresh and well seasoned. The portions were fantastic. The menu was $10-20 per plate. We had the tacos and stuffed shrimp and it was delicious. You do get complimentary chips and salsa as well. Their alcohol is good we had a ranch water and a mango margarita which tasted fresh and tasty. Would definitely try it again, you should check it out!

House margarita was good. A touch sweet, but better than most.
Chips, bean dip, green and red salsas were very tasty.
Shrimp fajitas, a lot of shrimp. Grilled nicely and flavorful. Could always use a bit more seasoning for my taste. Guac and ancillaries were good.

We were visiting the area and my daughter found this restaurant and I am so glad that she chose it. It was amazing ! Our server. Diego , was so friendly. They had a lunch special., called Baja, which is what I got, the best shrimp tacos I’ve ever had. They great margaritas that were delicious and inexpensive. The manager Robert was also very helpful ! I definitely recommend Taquilos!
