Easily one of the best taco spots around!
Everything here hits the spot — the tacos are packed with flavor, the ingredients taste super fresh, and the portions are just right. You can tell they actually care about the food they serve.
Service is fast, but it doesn’t feel rushed. The staff is friendly and on top of everything — our food came out quick, hot, and perfect. The place has that easy dine-in vibe where you can relax for a bit, but still get your food faster than most sit-down spots.

Me and my husband came to dine in for lunch. The place is clean and decorated for the holidays. They have weekly specials. The employees are very nice. We ordered the loaded fries and Carne asada/ Al pastor Bowl which they were both delicious. Thank you!

UNEXPECTED SURPRISE! We were lost and hungry, so we pulled into Taqui Taqui on Pico in LA. Instantaneous Glorious Smell, Friendly Host, and Free Samples. Met the brothers who own Taqui Taqui. My wife and I both LOVED the 4 tacos, chips & guacamole, and special desert cake. Plus parking was free and easy. Lots of happy customers at 3pm. Across from Sprouts. We will back back. Tacqui Tacqui is WONDERFUL.

I’m impressed. After living abroad for a year and not having access to good Mexican food, this place is it.
Two guys working post lunch hour were kind and relaxed. Got a free horchata unprompted, was offered samples. I can see why the g_review hype is high. The daily deals are also solid. And I’m a big fan of a little detail of a charging outlet available. Good music. It’s the small things. And yes the food is epic.
Give it a go if you’re in the area or want a worthwhile food pilgrimage.

We’re from Texas and every time we travel here, this place is a MUST stop for us! The food is seriously SO good — full of flavor and always fresh. You can tell everything is made with care.
But what really makes it special is the people. The workers are so welcoming, kind, and genuinely sweet. They made us feel right at home. And to top it off, they surprised us with a free tres leches cake, which was absolutely delicious!
Amazing food, amazing service — we’ll keep coming back every time we’re in town. Highly recommend!

Tried the Rice Bowl and it was absolutely amazing! The flavors were fresh, vibrant, and perfectly balanced. The rice was fluffy and well-seasoned, and the toppings were generous—every bite had a mix of veggies, protein, and just the right amount of spice. The salsa added a bright kick, and the guacamole made it even better.

Been here a couple times. I tried out there asada buritto and bowl. Favorite so far is the bowl and horchata! Shoutout to Jesse and Norlyn. There both the owners and brothers who run the restaurant. I lived in Mid-City for almost 20 years and it’s a good spot to go to for some Mexican food. As well as support the Mid-City community. You can tell there for the people and the community. Def recommend!!

The gentleman working there today let me know today’s specials the minute I walked in, and helped me decide on my order, with useful recommendations. I got the nachos with black beans, half chicken and half asada. It was sooooo good. The topping to chip ratio was perfect, the chicken was seasoned and not dry. They weren’t stingy with the meats or the guac. And it was super quick! I loved it. Thank you, my guy.
