Food was excellent. Staff was wonderful. My friends Taco came out cold and they immediately without question got her another one. Restaurant was all ducked out for Christmas and there were animals outside that you could pet. Just an amazing experience!!

We’ve been to Taquerio twice now, and it’s become a go-to spot in Mystic. The food is fantastic — fresh, flavorful tacos (the barbacoa and carnitas are top notch, and the fish tacos are a must), plus nachos that are fully loaded and perfect for sharing. Even the chips and queso were a hit at our table.
But what really makes this place stand out is the atmosphere. It’s laid-back, lively, and fun. We came on bingo night, and it was such a great experience — not only for us, but for the kids too. They loved playing bingo, Connect 4, and even the bean bag toss game, which kept them entertained while we enjoyed our food and drinks.
Between the cool bar setup, friendly staff, and family-friendly activities, Taquerio nails the balance of being both a fun night out spot and a welcoming place to bring kids. Highly recommended if you’re in Mystic and want something casual, delicious, and memorable.

We were staying nearby and kept walking past this place. Looks like a former gas station, don’t know if it is that or an interesting design choice, regardless, it’s a fun place.
We arrived 8ish on a Tuesday in late August. Staff were recovering from 2 or 3 large groups. Yet they were still helpful and friendly.
The margaritas and cocktails were well mixed and delicious.
Tacos were delicious! We had fish tacos, wild mushrooms, po boy, carnitas & all were flavorful and tasty.
So glad we stopped by and will again in the future.

Taquerio is the spot for tacos in Mystic — fun, casual, and packed with flavor.
We tried the chips with guac, queso, and salsa trio — each one hit differently (and deliciously). Tacos were next-level: brisket, fish, and pork were all juicy, flavorful, and well-seasoned. Bonus points for the extra pickled onions and spicy crema.
But the real star? The watermelon margarita. Bright, refreshing, and not overly sweet. Their frozen drinks in general are 10/10.
The vibe is unbeatable — a cool converted garage with open-air seating, vintage decor, and a chill playlist. It feels like the kind of place you want to stay awhile. Great for summer hangs or casual nights out.

I visited Taqueria while they were decorated for the holidays and operating as Santa’s Sleigh Station. The decor is fantastic during this time of year, but the star was the food. We ordered several different items and all were delicious. I haven’t been here at any other time then during a Christmas season, but I will definitely aim to come again over the summer! Waitstaff was also excellent and friendly. The food was delivered fresh and within minutes after we ordered. The barbacoa Taco was especially delicious and the protein bowl with the added chicken was an amazing value! I would suggest also ordering a side of chips to eat with the protein bowl. What an awesome place to eat, the tacos are so good, wish they would be more per portion, but it is totally fine. Drinks are also good, and they serve drinks like jarritos and Mexican Coca Cola. The ambience it’s so nice, and they even accept dogs. Overall a good place for family and friends.
