Grand Old Soul
Very generous portions with the fajitas. Also free chips bar which is rare these days. Staff was friendly..nice location. BUT…. The food itself was very very VERY bland. It’s so weird that in other areas outside of the bay are or LA the Mexican food lacks so much of that authentic taste. Maybe were just spoiled here in the Bay. But man. It’s pretty much air.

Really fresh and clean tasting food. The shrimp tacos are awesome and we loved the coctel de mariscos. The beans and rice were so perfectly lightly seasoned and perfectly al dente.

I knew it was going to be good when I saw the parking lot was full. The shrimp taco is killer. I wish I had ordered more than one. There’s also self-serve chips and salsa that you can make exactly the way you want with a salsa bar and fresh chips.

Fantastic hole in the wall place. If you’re looking for a fine dining experience, go somewhere else. If you’re looking for delicious, flavorful food; come here. You order at the counter and pick your food up there. Drinks are in the refrigerator next to the cashier. It’s small inside, though they have outside seating as well, so smaller groups are recommended. I think they do Togo which would be a better option for a larger group (8 or more). Also, this is not the place to linger over a meal, other customers will want your table. 🙂

Really wanted to like this place but was disappointed both times…first time ordered a veggie quesadilla and it was cold. Second time ordered a chicken quesadilla and it didn’t have any meat when I got it. Asked for a new one, instead they just slapped a bunch of watery chicken in the middle which made the tortilla soggy….it was just gross. Super bummed…never again.

Went there for the first time and had a shrimp taco an asada taco and nachos. Everything was pretty tasty so we returned the next night to eat again. (Don’t judge us for eating out two nights in a row ) I literally watched them put the enchiladas that we ordered in the microwave to cook them. Like legit roll the tortillas with cheese, dip in sauce and put the plate in the microwave. I’ve never seen anything like that at a taqueria or any restaurant period. We had to ask them to reheat the plate because the cheese wasn’t melted. They proceeded to put it back in the microwave again. Needless to say, I did not finish the food. The fish tacos that my boyfriend ordered were decent. Super disappointed in a meal that cost over $30. I will not be returning

We order takeout from here at least once a week and this food is SO good. They are quick, friendly and we haven’t tried dish we didn’t like yet. Our favorite dishes are Camarones a la de Diabla , the wet jumbo burrito and their Quesadilla. All of these dishes are large enough for two people.
