We were road tripping with our dogs and were sick and tired of the usual drive through food so when I saw some good looking Mexican food I couldn’t resist. We took it to go because it was too hot to leave the pups in the car but the food still looked magnificent. Husband’s burrito was so great he inhaled it and I didn’t get a chance to take a picture When I ordered it over the phone the person taking our order was very accommodating and I loved how the toddler quesadilla was marked “all cheese and a tiny bit of meat” and it was just that and our daughter loved it Aguas Frescas Limon ❤️

A really great place to grab some tacos, burritos, tortas and other food. I was here at dinner but it looks like they might do an open taco bar. They have plenty of seating tables and Booths. They are located next to Penn station. Just seconds from the highway on 44. The torta was really good. The atmosphere is pretty decent it’s very well lit up with natural light from all the windows in the front of the building.

Answered the phone speaking Spanish. I tried to place my order in English, she didn’t understand and hung up phone on me. I called back 3x and she never answered . 3rd and last time patronizing this terrible restaurant. Horrible customer service and wait times. BUT THANK YOU BECAUSE when you refused to answer phone I went to SAN JOSE MEXICAN RESTAURANT basically across the street and they have THE BEST customer service and WAY BETTER tacos. My new go to for authentic food. To every person reading this give it a try!!!!

I just had the most amazing verde chicken tamales in Shelbyville! Seriously, it was hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. The prices are fantastic, making it even better. The atmosphere was delightful, and the rice and beans were good too! I can’t wait to go back for more!

Wow, an incredible lunch today! As authentic as it gets in Shelbyville. The pulled pork taco will rock your taste buds & the chicken quesadilla is worthy of a last meal before walking the Green Mile. No regrets other than waiting way too long to sample the amazing food they have to offer. The BP fuel islands just outside the front door might have been reason enough to stay away until today. Drats!

My family and I always travel to Chicago from Kentucky and when we stopped by today for a quick meal all of us were delighted and satisfied with our to tacos and tortas. The meat was well seasoned and the salsas were so good! Highly recommend the tortas. Also the service was great and restaurant was super clean.

Love the place. Yes, we have several Mexican Restaurants in town already. However, tacos are always better at a taqueria. This place is no exception. A wide variety of types to suit every taste. And longaniza is on the menu instead of your standard chorizo so that’s a bonus. Plenty of room to hang out and eat your tacos as well. Good salsas to go with your chips or on your tacos. They also have tortas, tamales, and other “fast food” type dishes that you can get the meat on. They have bottled drinks, a soda fountain, and several aguas frescas as well. Great addition to the area!
