Traditionally this type of food is accessible to everyone due to the basic ingredients and preparation. Not here at vallarta. They have taken something so simple and offered it at a unrealistic price. Bummer. Ceviche is excellent. Burritos are pricey and mushy. Better places in Santa cruz. Much better places in castroville!

Always love Vallarta. This is the original. The burrito was close to $20 though! Everything is rising! Great chicken burrito and actually was enough for two meals. The gentlemen at the counter and the cooks are great. Friendly and fast! Will always come back.

The food has declined in thr last couple of years. Bought a burrito that was awful. Threw it our..$13. Another time the beans were burnt, an enchilada was underwhelming, tacos okay but “good”. The foos is just not prepared like it used yo be. I want to like it. I have been going there since it opened years ago. It WAS my go to place. No more.
