Cozy, colorful restaurant specializing in tacos with a variety of fillings & self-serve toppings.

Amazing tacos
I tried 3 different meats – carne asada, al pastor, and lamb. They were all lovely. The man at the taco station also gave me a nice scoop of grilled onions.
You order tacos in one place and everything else at a separate counter where you pay.
The establishment was clean enough – I would avoid the women’s bathroom.

Located on busy 24th street is this Mexican restaurant. Shrimp burrito bowl had generous portion. Only that the tomatoes in the red salsa tasted stale. Green sauce was . They maybe spicy so try with a little first. You may ask if a dish on their menu is spicy or not. Tacos come in count of 2. Horchata drink was a little too sweet, but worth a try. It’s got cinnamon in it. The cucumber drink was very refreshing! You may choose to sit inside or outside, overlooking the happening street. They do have a large vegetarian menu. Many local’s favorite. Definitely worth a try!

Visited this taco place in San Francisco and had an authentic taco experience! The steak tacos were delicious, with perfectly cooked meat bursting with flavor. While the tacos were outstanding, the atmosphere wasn’t the best as cleanliness seemed lacking. Nonetheless, if you’re in San Francisco for some amazing tacos, this place is a must-visit. I’d love to return, especially to try their renowned burritos!

The meat is always tender. The sauce is amazing taste. The food is always fresh and hot also with that big dash of authentic Mexican food. If you want late night too, it’s open until 2am:

Food was just ok.
Courtesy chips and salsa was nice of them.
Nachos were good but I bet they were microwaved since those type of plates can’t go in oven or salamander.
The huevos con chorizo were dry, had good flavor but needed more red sauce, the tortillas they came with were nicely cooked, refried beans and rice were good.
Mango drink was good.
Not sure if I’ll come back or not.

So tasty! We got an assortment of tacos and all were delicious. I had a big horchata which I also loved. Not a taco expert but these sure taste like the ones we had in Mexico.
There’s outdoor seating option, inside has plenty of space too and it was relatively empty when we went I don’t know how. Honestly, great stuff.

Probably the best tacos and burritos you’ll have in the Mission District. They are open late. You order at the counter and find a table which you have a choice of indoor or outdoor. They make the tacos right in front of you. $4 each. Burritos are huge! Next door there is an alley filled with the most incredible murals you have ever seen. This is not just a place to eat, it’s an adventure.

I ordered super nachos al pastor, and they gave me asada. I went to tell the cashier kindly that I ordered al pastor instead of asada, and she gave me the nastiest attitude and did not want to change them. I had to pay again for another order because she was too entitled to change it.

Had four tacos & street corn with tahin. Delicious and unique flavors including: al pastor (marinated pork which they serve with yummy warm sliced pineapple), buche (pork neck), lengua (cow tongue), suadero (beef belly & leg). Served in double corn tacos with a nice salsa verde and just the right amount of chopped onions. A humble sit down spot but has a charm with very lovely hand painted that illustrates the story of the district

Located in the middle of the food corridor, 24th Street, San Francisco. A taqueria offhand large selection of Mexican dishes, a large selection of vegetarian burritos and 4 kinds of aguas frescas. This Taqueria caters to hungry people from 10:00 and closes at 2:00 every day. On the menu you’ll find that they serve Pozole and Menudo every day, the Pozole I ordered was well done and it contained plenty of Pata (cow’s foot) with no hominy, the broth was a bit on the hot side with a nice red color. A special area dedicated to serve tacos only Mexico City style with several meat options to please everyone. A popular place to visit after night clubbing specially on the weekends.
