Taqueria Vallarta is still serving delicious food, but they have switched from a restaurant to a food truck. As of this review the address and hours are correct on google, just look for the large white food truck in the parking lot!

Sooo good. We got tacos (1 steak, 1 lengua and 1 carnitas), and a steak quesadilla. Everything was delicious, and there was a great selection of flavorful hot sauces! We’ll definitely be back.
Edit: I’m slightly obsessed with the pastor tacos with pineapple, picture added. We’ve been back several times, and the food and service is always great!

These are some of the best tacos I’ve had in a long time! I got the Al Pastor tacos, extra hot. The extra hot is decently spicy. It’s hard to find food that’s actually hot and that packs a ton of flavor. I’ll definitely be back! I love taquerias, this is one of the best in the Twin Cities.

Honestly they had some of the best al pastor tacos I’ve ever had! There’s always a but, the steak tacos had this awful marinade on it. The extra hot green salsa was delicious . The habanero was pretty good too a little runny. But I will come back for the al pastor tacos do yourself a favor and try the al pastor skip the asada

Ahhh!!! My Mexican food craving has been satisfied. The beef burrito is what will have me coming back for more. It was huge, full of flavor and nice consistency.The Elotes was perfect a big portion and nice kick to it. The quesadilla was just okay. Also, service was great.

Very small restaurant friendly staff very tasty sauces. Got the steak burrito was one of the best handheld burritos I have ever had. The veggies tacos tasted very fresh if and complaint maybe needed more seasoning.

We have looked high and low for authentic Mexican in the metro. Fortunately we have found it right out our back door. Taqueria Vallarta in Spring Lake Park is the best. Chicken Burrito can’t be beat. Give them a try if you are ever in the area. Our favorite take out. One Burrito feeds us both!!!

I ordered the carnitas burrito and horchata. The portion sizes for both were decent and came with tortilla chips, a lime wedge, and a salsa of your choice of heat level. All together a solid taco/burrito spot sure to please customers. It is a very small restaurant so I recommend take out if you can.

Came here for the first time today and ordered the steak quesadilla and two tacos which was SUPER inexpensive! The wait however was kind of long but it appeared to be minimal staff so the wait wasn’t a huge issue. The quesadilla was really good! Usually whenever I have a quesadilla it’s kind of mediocre but this was very good! It was hot and delicious. The lettuce that came with it however was a little brown and didn’t look the freshest. The tacos were okay, wasn’t a huge fan of the corn tortilla shells. It was slightly cold; the shells should’ve/could’ve been placed on the stove for a bit. Overall pretty good experience, if I’m in the area I would probably return.
