My reviews is little bit late.. more or less 3 weeks ago.
First time customer we live more or less 8 mins from here didn’t know about tacos at this building until our son told us. Arrived almost 3pm on Sunday, and there was couple things (carnitas, chicken, lengua) sold out already.
So we ordered steak, al pastor tacos, sopes and gorditas.
Service was a bit slow that night but we wasn’t in hurry since we sat down and chatted with our friends. All food was good. We will come back and trying other things from their menu hopefully when we’re back there’s no sold out sign .

This is hands down our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. My wife and I go here all the time, and after living in San Diego for a few years, we know good Mexican food; this place absolutely delivers. Everything from the food to the service is always great, and the prices are really reasonable too.
It’s a family-owned spot, which makes it even better. You can tell they really care about the quality and the experience. And the gorditas are unreal. Seriously the best I’ve ever had. If you haven’t tried them yet, you’re missing out!

We ordered the Chips and Guacamole, 2 Steak Tacos, & Lengua Quesadilla. Everything was freshly made and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend and will definitely order again.

Folks, this place is the real deal.
Having grown up in Arizona and Texas, I have been a little down since moving to the northeast because we haven’t been able to find Mexican cuisine that tastes like home. We found it here!

This was my first time trying Taqueria Tlaxcali and I was extremely happy to discover that they do not use flour in their menu, making everything safe/GF. The owner was very pleasant, and the food was fantastic and freshly made on the spot. I got the chicken/cheese quesadilla which was huge, along with a side of guac and grilled cactus. Can’t wait to go back!!

Wow. Lived in Colorado for a decade and was used to good Mexican. I’ve tried all the taco places in the area and this one is #1 by far. Good food and prices. Plus you can get a beer and ice cream next door!
