Awesome little place. We stopped in last night for a bite. Will for sure be back. The flavors are amazing and everything tasted fresh not processed. Just go -carry out or eat in. We had nachos, a taco and a couple burritos at our table. So good !

My favorite hole in the wall restaurant in the area! Get the barbacoa, it is legit; which is a rarity in this area. There isn’t much seating, so if you’re going during lunch, there is a chance you’ll be taking it to go. As for the salsas, red is hotter than green.

Food was good. I had a Chile relleno. I would have liked either a meltier cheese or less cheese, but I can’t say I didn’t devour it. Rice and beans portion a lil skimpy, but it was fine. I had an ice cream bar,too. Mangonada flavor, lil freezer burnt but still good.

A delicious hole-in-the-wall authentic Mexican restaurant! It was BUSY when I arrived at 1:30 pm on a Thursday afternoon. I sat down and after the counter guy got through waiting on the throng of take-out customers, he very apologetically took my order, which came out quickly. Everything was hot and flavorful. In all honesty, they could charge more for what they offer so I just left a big tip. I love seeing authentic places like this so busy! Highly recommend!

Ordered beef tamales and im used to steamed but im sure that they microwaved to warm them.By the time I got home they were hard as a rock. I ate 3 out of 10 and had to throw out the rest.They were truly to hard to eat.I tried to call and tell them that they were too hard and or old .but I guess I called other location,,I didn’t know there was 2 locations. But still I hope they are better next time.

This is our first time getting burned by street tacos. Ordered the tripa, lengua, and al pastor. My wife and I both spent the next 2 days in the bathroom. Should have known better than to eat out in Traverse City.

Boyfriend and I love Mexican food and have been dying to try this place. We went and didn’t quite know how it worked, but patrons can either dine in, or call ahead and pick up their order. We were seated and given a menu and drinks rather quickly. Boyfriend got the steak, chicken, and chorizo tacos and enjoyed them. I got the nachos and two tamales, one chicken one beef. All the food was delicious, well priced, served in a timely manner, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Highly recommend!

Literally everytime I am in Traverse City, I make a point to come here. They have a simple menu that they make fantastically; I have yet to find something I don’t find delicious. This location is outside of the main downtown area, but as such, it helps give this place a wonderful hole in the wall feel. If you like Mexican food, you need to come here!
