Great food! We chose three orders of the Tacos de Carne. They were cooked to perfection, and very savory. The Hibiscus Tea (Aqua de Jamaica) was perfectly balanced, not too sweet. Brenda was fantastic, service is warm and hospitable. Definitely recommend coming to visit here for authentic Mexican cuisine in North Texas.

The place was packed on this beautiful Saturday afternoon and you know that you’ve probably made a good choice whenever you’re the only Caucasian.
I ordered the Mix & Match since it was my first time and was not disappointed. The Trompo was definitely worth the trip alone.
Granted, this is a strip shopping center, quasi fast food place so the atmosphere isn’t fantastic but I had no complaints.
I’ll definitely be back for the Trompo Taco specials.

My husband and I just ate here! The food is AMAZING! I got the Birria tacos, the best I’ve had so far and I got the elotes! Everything was good, the staff was nice and service was great. Rhett and Brenda made sure we had everything we needed and just engaged with us during our time! We will be back again!!

Taquería & Tamaleria Nuevo León just opened a new location in Murphy, so I had to try it. They have a taco Tuesday deal for $1 trompo tacos, so I had to stock up on those.
My sister has went to pick up a order of 25 tacos, but they were missing 15 tacos when they picked up their order. I went to collect the other 15 and they were very kind and apologetic when I got them. I appreciated that. The to go orders are in the front counter. The vibes inside were actually nice and had plenty of people seated. They also have an outside dining area as well.
The order comes with beans which are really good, the traditional onions/cilantro which tastes fresh, and Verde/orange sauces. Be warned that the Verde sauce has a spicy undercover kick to it. The real winner here is the trompo tacos. The order was actually still hot when I ate them. The tacos and plenty of meat which I adored because some places sketch out on the meats.
I would definitely come back for taco Tuesday. Definitely a hit for me and they were super cool about the missing tacos. Good vibes

Food was exceptional and the customer service top tier. The manager or one in charge in the white shirt and the staff were all very friendly giving me and my friends everything we ordered very fast. I ordered the birria taco plate and it was phenomenal. The consome and the little bean soup were delicious. My friend ordered the papa asada and the meat was very tender, juicy, and flavorful. I’m definitely coming back to this location.

We’ve been coming here since they opened and stopped going to our regular place in Wylie. Their $1 tacos on Tuesday’s are hard to beat for the price AND taste. They messed up one of our orders today but Idalid was super helpful and nice. She quickly fixed it for us even though they were packed. 10/10 recommend for the taste, value and customer service.

The food is very nice and flavorful. Not overly season and just right! We ordered the “meats by the pound” where you get the meats, accompany with side dishes to make your own taco.
The tamales are vary tasty as well. Worth a return trip!

I placed a to go order and after waiting 20+ minutes for 9 tacos I guess taco Tuesday has gone downhill. Once again charged for pineapple on our trompo tacos but they failed to add them. Tortillas seem to have changed for a cheaper quality and they were burned and tough. Meat had zero char and had the consistency of boiled or steamed meat. Food was room temperature. Once again sold out of the standard pork tamales before 6pm.
Our previous to go order we only received 5 out of the 6 tamales which we had to settle for bland chicken because pork was sold out.
Can never reach anybody on the phone to address the issues. Their website rerouted to the Buckingham location and they give the same number listed that rerouted me in the first place.

Trompo Tuesday is a wonderful deal. Service is great despite being slammed by people. The food is delicious and they don’t skimp by providing plenty of meat in addition to grilled onions, roasted jalapenos, onions and cilantro, as well as a set of burracho beans. Absolutely delicious, I’ll be back over and over
