In general burritos are a simple food, but the subtle differences can make or break this beautiful thing. These guys have hit the mark. Beans were very flavorful and the flavors mix so well. Tortillas are in the sweet spot of chewy and still hold the flavor. Salsas are really good. The red sauce is unique.
Beware, these things are as big as your forearm. You WILL be full.

Got the super carnitas burrito and it really was super. I could barely finish this thing and I’m a burrito enjoyer and never have that problem. Loaded with delicious carnitas and the guy who served me hooked up extra hot sauce cups to go. Great spot.

Great local spot for authentic Mexican food. The flavors are great and they offer a lot of different meat options that are all cooked, and seasoned nicely.
The place was populated with locals which made us feel like we chose the right spot.
Initially we were nervous about ordering, but the lady running the counter was so incredibly nice, offered suggestions, and walked us through the whole process with patience and a friendly demeanor.

I DO NOT recommend eating here. I placed two orders, enchilada plate and a tostada. #1 They smashed the tostada into the enchilada order. #2 The photo shows what they normally give you in the order vs what I received. Inconsistency and no customer service to fix the order. I brought it up to the cashier, but she was incompetent.

Carne asada taco was not bad at all. Good amount of meat to tortilla ratio. The taste was not bad at all – the quality of meat was not bad- the softness of the tortillas creates a great balance of flavor complimented the carne,salsa, onion and cilantro. If you want something quick and filling- the price was worth the taco.

Best tacos in Santa Cruz!!! Granted, I didn’t have tacos anywhere else in Santa Cruz, but I do not imagine any other taco being able to top these. Excellent flavors, the salsa is spicy but great and a good size taco. Husband had a tongue taco and he said it was great. (I don’t like my food tasting me back so I stuck with carnitas and carne asada). The kids’ burritos were also a 10: generous portions and great flavor. Ceviche tostada was good but not the best I’ve had. Overall I do recommend you go here if you’re nearby.

Ordered shrimp tacos. They survive them under A LOT of iceberg lettuce with sour cream and hot sauce on a top. The hot sauce is way too hot and spread all over the taco, so it’s not possible to taste other ingredients. Turns out the shrimp is tasteless itself. The place is aay too expensive for that quality.

This place was yummy! Especially after having a few drinks. The combo plate with a taco & tostada absolutely hit every craving I was having! Love this place & it’s a good stop after a long day at the beach!
