This place is the real deal for traditional Mexican food. Everything is fresh and made to order. This is a no frills place with dining tables in the front room and kitchen in the back. A small bar and counter suffices for ordering. The menu features their specialties with a good but not extensive selection. After placing your order at the counter you can grab any open table and get a drink if you like. Drinks are self serve from a group of beverage refrigerators lining one wall. They have a good selection of beer and sodas. A bottle opener hangs on a string from the refrigerator handle. Any drinks will be added to your final bill. The food was prepared well and very tasteful. Pricing is reasonable considering the bountiful portions. When we visited they were doing a pretty brisk business. Everyone in our party agreed that it was a good experience and we would go back. Enjoy your visit!

very cozy and festive. not much conversation when stepping thru door or direction. no conversation or details regarding menu.Basically just looked at reviews to see what to order. carne asada tacos were good. quesadilla wasn’t as expected came with fresh lettuce and diced tomatoes crema. a lot of food for the money.was really hoping to have this place as a “go to”. but will check out others before trying this place again.

This place is so legit. They make their own tortillas and they have the best tripas! Rice and beans were also great.

Sadly, this restaurant disappointed me. It appeared to be a “hole in the wall” small place that I’d have loved! The food did not match the look of the restaurant. There was no flavor, and I had to douse my food with the green salsa, which actually was decent. Saw a paleta cooler, but they looked to be store bought and not made in-house. Service was excellent, and the decor was nice. They had no sopes.

I love this place!!! I normally get chicken tacos or a beef huarache and both never disappoint. There are definitely times someone in the kitchen is lacking, but I feel most times I’m there I get the most perfect chicken or beef. I love the salsas they bring to the table as well, they’re an essential when trying the tacos, my personal favorite is the green one. Sometimes the music can be too loud or there are children running around, but it adds to the vibe and never annoys me. Such a delicious local taqueria, this is my place for a taco fix!

Ok. Tacos were ok, the beef soup was salty. Food was ok to eat. When I tried to pay, she typed something and just gave me total amount. Not liking the lack of transparency, I summed all the menu I ordered and realized that she charged me more than I ordered. I would not go back ever again if you are trying to fool me with price……what an disappointing experience!

Amazing food, the tacos, the Al pastor, all the salsa. Top taco in the city. Authentic music and decor. Quick friendly service. $6 for two tacos.

Best tripa tacos in greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area. Can’t go wrong with any of the tacos on the menu, but tripa is my favorite for both the crisp and the chew. Love the menudo and wish it was available every day instead of just the weekend.
Super quick service and always delicious salsa.

Top notch authentic Mexican. For the homies looking to try new stuff, do the huaraches, it’s like a taco but better and not as basic. And if you like spicy drinks, which is a thing btw, try the Michelada.
