I could tell I was in the right place for great tacos when I walked in and I was the only white guy. My stereotyping proved to be correct and I had fantastic tacos…a couple of unexpected highlights though…the chips and salsa before my meal, well, the chips were standard tortilla chips but dang the salsa was great! On a whim, I ordered a bean and cheese taco to go with my meat tacos on hand made corn tortillas (lengua, tripas, pollo), and I’m pretty sure those were the best refried beans I’ve ever had. Delicious food, fair prices, highly recommend.

I have loved coming here for a few years but tonight it was such a pleasure to meet Melly and Aylin. They were both so friendly and suggested new menu items and made sure we were taken care of. Looking forward to coming back. Today I just got a quick 4 street tacos, but the plates are phenomenal as well

Very small hole in the wall with a bar inside and a small outside patio. Presentation was amazing but the flavor was a let down. Especially the salsa, in the bottle, that they bring out. They were not spicy and had absolutely no flavor. Our server was super sweet and took care of us, but food was definitely a disappointment. PS..music was a little too loud for such small space. It gave off more of a cantina vibe than restaurant.

Stopped for brunch after a late night out! Hubby had the chilaquiles and I had two breakfast tacos. The chips and hot sauce were fabulous. Truly authentic Mexican food. True authentic Mexican atmosphere. Give it a try. Great hangover cure!

My first impression is “WOW!” My co-worker and I initially went to Panther City Barbecue for the Tuesday tacos. Fortunately for us, they were closed. It led us to our final destination. But before getting there, we stopped at Tres Amigos Tacos and Tequila, which was definitely a bust. Y’all can check out my review on that place.
I’m actually glad it was a bust, because it led us to Taqueria San Andres and Larry’s Taco Tuesday. The tacos de carne asada are deliciosos! If you order anything else, do yourself a favor and order at least one of those. They are amazing Domestic beers are at a bargain price of $2.50, tacos are $1.50.
We were very content at that point but then we met Larry – one of the owners. He’s pictured with my buddy and I. He told us that on Wednesdays and Thursdays the Margaritas are $3.00. Phenomenal!
We were definitely impressed, Larry. We arrived at the office ranting and raving about Taqueria San Andres and will continue to do so among our family and friends. Thank you so much for the interaction, the willingness to take pictures with us, being so informative about the business, and your cordialness. We will certainly spread the word. We’ll see you soon!

TERRIBLE FOOD, NO MANAGEMENT, AND UNSANITARY CONDITIONS

The food was terrible from start to finish. The chips served before the meal were mostly stale, and the salsa had no seasoning—it tasted like nothing more than blended chiles and water. We ordered two plates of enchiladas rojas, one taco de pastor, and the caldo de res.

I only managed a bite of the taco de pastor, which was sweet despite being told it wasn’t, a bite of an enchilada, and a small taste of the beans and rice. The enchiladas had a chewy, gum-like texture and were completely inedible. The person with the other enchilada plate ate only the beans and rice, and the third person in our group drank just the broth from the caldo de res. The only thing finished at the table was a bottle of Coke.

When we asked to speak with a manager about the food quality, we were told there was no manager on-site. The staff member attempted to call him, then told us he couldn’t be reached because he was working a second job. That lack of oversight is deeply concerning.

The environment added to the poor experience. Loud music made it difficult to have a conversation, likely because the space is also used as a bar. The location felt cramped, trying to combine a restaurant and bar in a space too small for either. To top it off, when the plates were cleared, we found a dead fly on the table—an unacceptable sign of poor sanitation.

Service was good,, they greeted us immediately, took our drink order, brought our drinks along with chips and salsa. It’s very small inside. I ordered 3 tacos, carnitas, barbacoa, and desebrada, it came with refried beans and rice. Food was very good, but it lacked a bit in salt. My husband had the torta de carne asada, he said it was great. They have cold beer, and a variety of spirits.

I ordered nachos and they were not good and cold and didn’t like what was pictured on the menu. Not to mention I had to constantly flag down the waitstaff and they wasn’t even busy.. very disappointed because I was definitely looking forward to some authentic Mexican food

Where to begin! This was my first and LAST time! The salsa given for the chips is too spicy with absolutely no flavor. I ordered the taco plate and the meat was HORRIBLE!!! DRY and bland. The rice and beans were okay only thing worth eating. I tried eating one of the tacos and just couldn’t do the rest. Don’t recommend at all. My friend asked about the food and I said it was bad and I was never returning and I said it loud enough for waitress to hear as she was right by us and she didn’t even bother asking what the issue was. DON’T GO OR YOU WILL REGRET IT. If I could give 0’s stars I would.

Place was horrible! Drink was okay, though they only had tap water avaliable. Chips and salsa were good to me. Salsa they used however is not for the average american because of the spice level. Seats were full of crumbs and hairs. Music was all foul language but in spanish. The food was so terrible! I ordered the enchiladas rojos and they didn’t taste authentic at all (I would know because I am mexican). Tasted like all they added to the enchiladas was valentina sauce. Very poorly made. The only thing good about this place was the waitress we got, drink, salsa and chips. Never coming here ever again!
