This is my favorite tasting Mexican restaurant in AZ. They don’t give you a lot of food as in giant helping, I always leave full though, it tastes very good, I love their beans and rice, along with their tacos, and all other main courses, I’ve tried all their desserts and they are great as well. For whatever reason they charge 11% sales tax, while Glorias charge 9%, so I don’t know what that’s all about. They have great service. A friend told me he’s never gone in here, because it always looks dead inside, I told him that it’s other people’s loss if they don’t at least try it, because it’s very good food, and they have good service, usually the two younger male and female are the servers, and they are very nice. I believe that a lot of people may not know about this restaurant because of where it’s located.

Delicious, authentic Mexican food. Fresh, homemade tortilla chips. Enchiladas, tostadas, beans and rice were yummy! Only wish there had been some heat as everything was mild, but it’s Flagstaff… so they have to cater to tourists, I assume?

After checking the reviews of this store and the 2 other Mexican restaurants nearby we decided on Tacqueria Rojas for the molé.
She had cheese enchiladas with molé sauce, and I enjoyed the chicken molé, served on bone.
My chicken was fall of the bone tender, and the molé was excellent.
Throw in a side of chips, salsa and guac, a Mexican coke and Topi Chico, a flan for dessert and you’ve got a Great Roadside Meal!!
Food was excellent, service was great and the ambience inside while i waited was totally chill and locals feeling.
There were a few young couples eating, looked like on dates and 1 small family of 4 , all happily enjoying the good food and music.
Thank you to Gabby especially for being such a dynamic and confident FOH Staffer and making me feel as welcomed as any Local guest would.

Ok 3rd time eating here and second review…. homemade tortillas are absolutely amazing. The fajitas are flavorful and these folks don’t cut corners a small family restaurant trying to make it in tuff times give them a try and you’ll become a regular. Oh yeah chips and salsa amazing, gluten free chips . Sour cream cheese onion enchiladas arealso amazing. No relationship to the owners just dam good food more then reasonably priced . We stopped for a bite and ended up having breakfast burritos. They were big and quite tasty. When the young lady asked what I’d like to drink, I asked for Coke… it was just after 10 a.m. so I sheepishly asked if it was too early for soda. She flashed a big smile and confidently responded,”It’s never too early for Coke.”
