This is a little gem In Lumberton. Everyone is friendly and they have some of the best Mexican food closest to authentic as you can get around. The price for amount of food that you get was unbelievable amazing. They do charge gratuity on Sunday just for a heads up. They have plenty of seating for small to large parties. They have a full bar. I really enjoyed the little fruit cup. The young girl came to our table and sold us for five dollars. It was a delicious variety.

My favorite Mexican place in town! Also the only Mexican place I’ve been to in town that does not microwave their food like a lot of other Mexican places in Lumberton do which is why I love this place so much. The rice is always soft and fresh, never hard or dry. I can tell that the sopes I got the day the photos were taken were fresh. They were hot and had a slight crunch as if they were just made. I would recommend anyone to come here for Mexican food in Lumberton! Also bonus points for having a drive thru!

I love their chicken rice and veggies. I get my peppers and onions raw. The restaurant seems pretty clean, service could be a little better. The acknowledgment when you walk in is not so welcoming but after they finally do acknowledge you, its ok! I dine in and take out. There was a guy that came yesterday, i think he nay have been the owner or manager, he did ask if I was missing anything in my order and bis demeanor was nice, caring, considerate so that was nice. Overall im pleased with the establishment and will continue to eat there!

First time visiting and the experience was disappointing. Automatically charging 15% gratuity on a Sunday rubbed me the wrong way. If I want to tip, I will. I’ve been to much nicer restaurants, including fine-dining, and they do not automatically charge gratuity—especially for small parties. Being forced to pay it when the service and food didn’t reflect it was frustrating.
I ordered two steak tacos and the meat was horrible—very tough, to the point my son could barely break it apart. The salsa bowls brought out were dirty, all eight of them, and my vegetables were not cooked. I ordered water with lemon and was given lime instead, already placed in my drink.
I waited until the rest of my party left to calmly share my concerns, but the waitress, Daisy, became defensive and said I should have spoken up when the food arrived, which felt rude. When I mentioned children running around in the kitchen, she became more upset instead of addressing it. On the way out, I suggested placing a wet floor sign to prevent someone from getting hurt, and that also seemed to upset her.
To be fair, the chicken nachos were good. Outside of that, the food was mid at best—about a 3 out of 10. Between the food, cleanliness, service, and forced gratuity, I wouldn’t return.

The waitress definitely had patience as well still needed a few minutes to order. She helped us pick the best meal for the evening. She consistently checked on us and made a new traveler to the state feel welcomed!

Wow!! Amazing meal! We were in town for a quick stop over on our trip up the East coast and looking for some Mexican. We walked in and everyone there looked like they were a Spanish local…good sign! I couldn’t believe the meal prices for the size of the meal you get! We had the Amir Special and it could have fed 2-3! Excellent and only $15! Huge plate of rice, veggies, steak, chicken and shrimp with a cheese sauce! We also had the pollo asada. Again excellent and a huge amount of food! We had 2 meals and 2 margaritas for only $50! My only complaint would have been that the women’s bathroom was extremely filthy. The food made up for that.

A few months ago we wanted to go to Christopher’s that used to be at this location to find it closed. I ordered Amir’s special. This is like Texas ACP. The dish was delicious and a nice portion size. We also ordered the beef nachos. Everything was great and the service was excellent. We will definitely return.
