Taqueria Restaurant Vargas was just OK. The Margarita special at 2.99 for a 12oz was definitely above average, priced right, and will rock you. I would say, the Margarita was probably the brightest spot on the menu. Which to have to tell you that a margarita is a Mexican restaurants brightest spot (meaning not much here for me to talk about) overall for the quality, and price you can get the same thing anywhere. Tortilla Chips were same quality and most likely “bagged” ….while the Salsa is better than most restaurants, but still can’t compare to Chuy’s who has the freshest and best in business. The main meal “chicken quesadilla” was good but priced at 14.99 is a bit on the high end for a tortilla and cheese..

The food was delicious! Had a torta El Pastor which is a sandwich style meal with stripes of marinated pork, tiny pineapple bits, and refried beans. I added shredded cheese for even more deliciousness. Server was courteous and they thanked us for coming in when we left. Atmosphere is not the reason to visit but the food DEFINITELY is. Restrooms were clean, though.

My family and I went down to ben Davis HS for the marching band comp this weekend. Afterwards, starving, trying new Mexican spots is our thing. This place did not dissapoint let me tell you!! I did miss the driveway it being 9pm dark and the parking lot is not very lit. Right next to i think a dollar store. Walked in and knew, this was gonna be good lol. Just the smell of authentic Mexican food filled the air, if you know you know and we knew. I had the chicken/steak fajitas, the combo wasnt specifically on the menu but he made it happen. Phenomenal!! Wife and son had chicken street tacos, said they were better than our salsas restaurant here at home and that says something!! The salsa and chips were amazing. Everything, simply the best. The service was every bit of 5 star, the food just the same! Didnt catch the waiters name but both that were working the floor made sure to ask how everything was several times. A must if you dig REAL food and your in the area!! Next year’s marching band competitions, dinner will definitely be here! Thanks again!

This place is never very busy, which blows my mind because they have awesome food. Whether dining in or picking up to go, they’re always very quick and the food is hot and fresh. On one hand, I love that they’re not packed because it makes for a quiet calm atmosphere and fast service, but on the other hand, I wish they had more traffic coming in because I don’t want them to close!!

This was my regular taco place. I went in about a month ago and noticed my usual order was more expensive, so this time I removed a few items because they started charging a $3 fee for take out. Even with the fee the order should have been less than before. It wasn’t, they charged me $30 for 5 tacos. In 5 years the quality has gone down and the price has gone up. Now I need a new taco place.

Guyyyyyyyyyyssssss! This place is I’m not a big fan of Mexican food but I do get taco cravings occasionally and I like to get the best tacos whenever I get those cravings. I decided to look up the reviews for this place before visiting and as expected of most places, they have some bad reviews but I decided to try anyway. I got a custom plate; 2 shrimp tacos, plus side of rice and side of sour cream, plus horchata (not an official combo on the menu), and trust me when I say everything tasted so good!! No too much salt or anything like that. Will definitely be retuning here whenever those cravings win again

I love coming to this establishment I saw them a while ago and decided to give them a try. I’m very picky when it comes to my food so I was very shocked and surprised that I even took the courage to come and try them out. My family and I love Mexican food, due to our Spanish background as Puerto Ricans. Man,when I tell you I love this place so much I probably come here for lunch two times a week if I get the chance. It seems like a family establishment which I have loved and will always support. Thank you guys for always being so generous and kind every time I come in.
