This food was SO GOOD. My husband is from Mexico, myself, Nicaraguan. This food is very authentic, flavorful and cooked to PERFECTION. Great prices, great portions and beautiful atmosphere. The staff is so attentive and helpful! Enjoyed our meals here and would drive back from Vancouver WA, where we’re from, just to eat here again. Fabulous restaurant! Sorry the pictures are after we started eating because the food is SO GOOD. The salsas are AMAZING! 5 STAR EXPERINCE!

We love eating here! Great traditional Mexican food! We love the gorditas, tacos, and flautas. The salsa is so good! The rice and beans are fantastic. Eat here!! We highly recommend.

The salsa was flavorless and honestly tasted like tap water, which is because I’m assuming they used copious amounts of it to make the batch. The tacos I ordered came in crispy shells, which I don’t recall seeing on the menu, and I’ve never ordered tacos at a Mexican restaurant where anything but soft corn or flour tortillas would be the standard. Very nice staff , but not worth the $20 for lunch and tip.

We live close and come here often. The service is great, food and beverage choices are wide ranging, but we all just order our favorites. The bar is well stocked and margaritas are fast and delicious. We have a young child and they’re always considerate and patient with him. I think we’re going to be here even more this summer when the road improvements are done and outside seating is an option.

I was pleasantly surprised at the bright, spacious interior. Folk were welcoming and there was a party in the side room that looked like they were having fun. I got to watch Harry Potter on mute which I am ok with! I had the red enchiladas and my hubs had sopes. Both tasted flavorful…a step above the norm and the portions were plentiful. Chips were crisp and salsa tasty…also a step above the norm. Two things that can be improved: Forks are cheap cafeteria ones that feel uncomfortable to hold..and the lighting was a bit too bright. Maybe unscrew a few pot lights here and there. It’s probably our new spot for Mexican food!

We finally stopped in a few months ago and have come back several times. The service is always great and the prices are super reasonable. We hosted a birthday party a few weeks back and they were fantastic! Somehow they kept everyone’s tabs correct and were very accommodating for a large group (about 25 people). We stopped in last night for happy hour and it didn’t disappoint. The margarita with Patron is fantastic! We’ve gotten several types of burritos before. Last night we tried a fish taco, shrimp taco, taco with asada and a huarache which we’d never had before and all were fantastic!

Frequently go to Taqueria Portland for lunch at their SE 8th Ave location. Was very happy to hear they have a second location in Clackamas County.
We went for dinner after dark and parked in front. The building was a little intimidating when we arrived because it has no windows and appeared dark except for the signs; but don’t let that fool you. Once you open the door you’re ushered in by a light, bright and wide open welcoming atmosphere.
The salsa is the best salsa you’ll have from any Mexican restaurants around. Not runny and not too chunky with the perfect amount of kick. The food is fresh, vibrant and full of flavor. Like the salsa you can’t find a better taco salad around, it’s the best! Also had enchiladas that were to die for, delicious sauce and flavorful seasoning.
The service is very friendly, attentive and on point. Periodically checking in at the right times and always making sure everything is fine.
They have a full bar and sounds like they have bigger things planned for this location. I’m sure this location is going to get busier as more people find it. Now that they have a location closer to home this will definitely be my go to restaurant for nights out.

The food was delicious! The salsa had a great little heat to it, and the tacos were all so flavorful. The fish ceviche tostada was a hit too. Great new local spot with lots of flavor and menu options.

They use the poorest quality of meats chopped into little chunks which make it unrecognizable. asked for steak and paid 3 to 4 dollars for steak and still got the same old chopped up meat……. it will be the last time I ever eat here…..I have never seen chipped Carna asada…..16 hrs latter after a horrible night of stomach craps up a three with the worst case of the runs…..for sure never again ……..you are worse than a taco truck….. Respectful they ask!!!! have eaten their a few times tried my luck again paid extra for the different meat it was all the same…..most all my coworkers will not eat here because of the same reasons explained ……want real Mexican go to Don Pedro’s…..CHANGE YOUR MEATS YOU DESGUISE IT BY CHOPPING IT TO HAMBERGER OR CHICKEN BURGER…….
