We have been coming to Kelsey’s for a good while now, but I decided to finally write a review because I wanted to point out the owner’s honesty.
On our order today, the owner mentioned having charged us less for the quesadillas because they happened to come out smaller than usual. Have you encountered this??
In my 20 years of buying take-out, I have NEVER been anywhere where they did this, so I thought this was worth mentioning.
As for my review:
We have never eaten on location because we prefer to eat at home.
We used to go to the taco truck on Grand Caillou but realized that this place gives you a lot more food for your money; granted the prices are higher, but they are definitely worth it. Not only is there much more meat in whatever you order, but it is also clean meat. In other words, you wont find chunks of cartilage or fat, and it wont be dripping with grease, like at many other places.
If you have not tried Kelsey’s, I definitely recommend it. You can order over the phone so it can be ready when you pick up.
