Went here last summer. Food was excellent, service was a little unorthodox and fast-food style. It comes off as a traditional sit down restaurant as you walk in but you actually have to order at the front then sit down and they bring it out to you. Haven’t experienced the bar section yet, would definitely recommend if you’re wanting some casual fire eats.

The quality of the food is good, but waaay more expensive than it’s worth. If you want a burrito with protein then it’s $20 easy. Take your business elsewhere, there’s so many quality authentic Mexican restaurants in the valley that deserve your money. Picaro should be left to shut down and make way for something different in this great location.

I recommend coming here during happy hour. The prices are the much better. Otherwise it feels like a lot to pay for an ok taco when there are so many authentic delicious Mexican food trucks in the area.

Was a very aesthetic atmosphere with a cozy and welcoming energy. The food was fantastic really enjoyed they had yucca fries as a appetizer and the Chipotle crema was addictive definitely recommend dining in.

There are certainly plenty of things to like about this place, and Mexican food is always good. The choice of salsas is great and the service is friendly and quick. We enjoyed our food, but I found the chicken in my burrito to be a little under seasoned. I would go back if I were near by, but this wouldn’t be my first stop for a burrito.

Delicious Mexican food, friendly staff, good service, dine in and takeout, favorite with locals and Ashland visitors, try the burrito with chorizo (it’s a winner). Street parking and a public parking lot a half block away.

First time visiting Taqueria Picaro in Ashland Oregon. Our group of 6 had no trouble finding a seat at about 5:30 on President’s Day. This is an order at the counter and find a seat kind of place. There is a flight of stairs to climb on the way in. The restaurant is casual and had a casual vibe to it. The menu had a good selection of dishes, which included vegetarian options on several offerings. We had arrived while happy hour was still happening, and ordered a margarita and a cider. It didn’t take long for the drinks to be served up, and the food followed shortly afterwards. Tamales, taquitos, rice and beans, a burrito and a taco plate were the choices today. Everyone enjoyed their food. Good flavors. Salsas and chips were enjoyed as well.

Nice place for a quick bite. Fun ambiance with lots of windows. Friendly service. The house made chips and salsa are outstanding. We really liked the limeade made from scratch. The street tacos had a lot of meat in them and the burrito was quite large.
